"Where the fuck were you?!"

"Out." I answered bluntly, shutting the front door behind me and walking past mom, bumping my shoulder into hers.

She continued yelling at me but I blocked her out.

I walked through the dark passage and entered my room, slamming the door close.

I exhaled deeply before falling down onto my mattress. I immediately smiled as thoughts about him flashed in my head, he was so kind, respectful, caring, and awkwardly weird. I laughed out loudly as the memory of when we first met at the hotel played like a movie inside my head.

I stood up and walked towards my cracked mirror against the wall and smiled harder. Not to exaggerate but I looked really good in his hoodie, in fact, I was rocking it. I played with the strings and inhaled the smell of it. Mhmm. Cotton candy and brownies. I reached into the front pocket and a piece of paper rubbed against my fingers. I took it out and opened it up.

I couldn't help but laugh at how cute this was. My heart skipped a beat and in my stomach a elephant danced making my head spin.

I bit my bottom lip and sat down on the floor.

A five minute date seemed impossible! What was I going to wear? Where would he take me? Did I make the right choice by agreeing to the date? For the first time in forever, I cared. What was it about him? I didn't understand why I didn't I treat him like any other boy? Did I care bout him? I kept asking myself, what was this new feeling? I pushed my thoughts aside with a deep breath and looked into the distance, imagining his beautiful hazel eyes staring into mine.

Oh shit! I was slowly starting to fall for weird boy.

"Luke help!!" I screamed, throwing him with the nearest pillow on my bed.

"Quit screaming like a girl. Im trying to think." He mumbled in annoyance.

"Im super nervous. I haven't gone on a date for like, forever and may I remind you that all of them were disasters!" I reminded him.

And that was absolutely true, every single date I've ever been on was terrible, as in the girl would either be allergic to seafood, or they'd talk about shopping and instgram influencers, or they'd just...

"Damn! you gained five hundred followers within a week!" Luke exclaimed proudly.

I grabbed my phone fro his hands aggressively and sighed, collapsing onto my bed. "What do I do?" I thought out loud.

"You're being dramatic! You simply just call her and ask her what she likes, what's her favourite food, her favourite movie, her fav-"

"No, no and no. It has to be unexpected, a surprise. It has to be perfect! Besides I don't have her number." I explained.

"How about her instagram?"  He questioned.

"Nope." I popped the p.

"You're useless, just gimme her name." He rolled his eyes at me.

"I-I don't know it." I said awkwardly.

"What the fuck?! You're taking a stranger on a date?!" He questioned in disbelief .

"She's not a stranger. She's dreamy, beautiful, bold, confident and her eyes... damn they're like a looking glass into paradise." I couldn't help the little smile that spread on my face as I spoke about her.
