a few days have passed since Sabine brought an injured Ezra Bridger back to her home, the last few days have been dull for Sabine as she hadn't left her cabin once as she drowns in sadness and anger with Ezra

"why is he constantly saving me?" she asked herself feeling anger but love for him and his stupid and reckless behaviour as she looks down onto her belt she sees his lightsabre and she unclips it putting it by the side of the bed as Mira enters 

"Mommy, is daddy going to be okay?" Mira asks with tears in her eyes 

"I don't know sweety," Sabine says attempting to fight back her own tears 

"I hope he gets better, I miss him a lot," Mira says as she sobs into Sabine's shoulder

"I miss him too" Sabine responds to her before Mira falls asleep in her arms where she gets up and leaves to go see Ezra 

as she reaches the medical wing she enters to see Ezra lying on the bed with a low heartbeat rate and a medical gown covering his body while machines are attached to him keeping him alive, Sabine sits down by the bed gripping his hand holding it close to her as she starts crying softly 

"you stupid idiot, why do you always have to try and sacrifice yourself?"

"Because I love you," Ezra says faintly 

"Thrawn has Jacen, Kanan and Hera have been taking it harder than ever"

"then we should help them with Zeb y'know a crew gathering"

"There will be no.... we, Ezra you are staying here until you are healed properly"

"What good did that ever do us?"

"it got you close to death a lot"

"Sabine, I am useless on my back and I don't want to stay in this wing I want to be able to sleep in a bed with you and spend time with Mira again"

"We both want that Ezra but until you are healed you are staying here"

"fine, can you sleep in here tonight? I miss you"

"okay Ezra, now I will see you later"

Sabine gets up and leaves the room leaving Ezra alone 

"Sabine, how is he?" Ursa asks 

"like Ezra, why does he keep trying to get himself killed?"

"I guess he wants to protect you"

"he almost dies when he tries to protect me and I don't think I can live without him, we have 2 kids and I have loved him since I met him over 12 years ago"

"2 kids?" 

"dank ferrek, yes mom we have 2 kids" Sabine said kicking herself as she didn't mean to tell her about her pregnancy

"are you pregnant Sabine?"

"yes I am"

"when did you find out?"

"when me and Ezra were on Naboo"

"why didn't you tell me?"

"because we went straight from Naboo to the Jedi Temple, then Ezra got shot and is now healing and Jacen is lost"

"Sabine, I'm sorry"

"you have nothing to be sorry for"

"on another note, I have some good news"

"what is it?"

"Jacen has been rescued and Thrawn has been captured with Tristan bringing them both here for you and Ezra to deal with as you please"

THE NEXT DAY

Ezra woke up next to his pregnant wife where he felt a lot better and could actually walk now, he gets out of bed putting on his orange jumpsuit and jacket 

"Ezra, what are you doing out of bed?" Sabine asks him, clearly annoyed 

"I can actually walk now plus being in bed is boring as kriff" 

"okay then, Tristan should be arriving within the next 2 hours with Thrawn for you to do as you wish with him"

"I am going to kill that bastard once and for all, he deserves it for what he has done to us" he says angrily as his eyes flicker between yellow and his normal ocean blue 

"come here Ezzy" she says as she stands and embraces him placing a firm kiss on his lips

"I don't want anyone to tear this family apart, I love you and Mira more than you know"

"no one will hurt us Ezra, you are a Jedi and I am a Mandalorian plus Mira is training to be a Jedi and our next child will be something great for both of us I do not want you throwing your life away in seeking revenge"

"as always, you're right Sabine"

"Mandalorians often are Bridger"

"I know Mrs. Bridger-Wren"

with this Ezra lets go of Sabine as he walks out of the door of the medical room to the main room where Tristan walks in with Thrawn in custody 

"if it isn't the failed Jedi who could not save his own master"

"if it was up to me I would kill you where you stand but you should be thankful for Sabine talking me out of killing you"

"oh the artistic Mandalorian who doesn't deserve to be called a Mandalorian"

"she deserves the title of Mandalorian because she is the most badass person I have ever met but the main reason she deserves the title is because of how human she is and I will not tolerate you mocking my wife"

"Mira is an embarrassment to the galaxy the child of a failed Jedi and a woman who puts the name Mandalorian to shame"

with this Ezra uses a stun gun to knock Thrawn unconscious before he uses his communicator to inform the New Republic Judiciary Corps of Thrawn and his location so they can come and arrest him so he can be punished for his crimes 

Authors Note: the last few days have been busy as hell which is why there has been a delay in the output of new chapters however chapters for this story will be released every 2 days
