Return of an old friend

The Hunt

it has been 5 years since the Jedi Ezra Bridger sacrificed himself for his home world of Lothal taking Grand Admiral Thrawn and the Seventh Fleet into hyperspace. Following the sacrifice Sabine Wren and Ahsoka Tano with the assistance of clan Wren now hunts for the lost man.

during a previous mission with the New Republic to the outer rim world of Tatooine, Sabine pays a smuggler for information about an Imperial ship that will fly through the system in the coming days with a special prisoner aboard, this immediately sparks her interest as she starts listening closely as they say they have a plan to raid the ship this encourages her to get ready with Ahsoka to storm it in hopes of finding her long lost friend.

the day has finally arrived and the two sit in their ship just in orbit of the desert world eagerly awaiting the arrival of the ship when Ahsoka notices something a presence in the force someone getting closer and closer until the ship arrives 

Ahsoka "Sabine, that is the ship"

Sabine "how do you know?"

Ahsoka "i can sense a force wielder on board, it is weak but it is definitely there"

Sabine "then this is the ship Ezra is on"

as she says that they dart towards the hangar as the star destroyer starts firing on them, they narrowly miss the incoming turret fire landing in the hangar where Sabine uses her blasters and Ahsoka with her lightsabres to take down the stormtrooper threat, when the hall is clear Chopper comes out of the ship

Sabine "chop, hack the ships mainframe and try and find out where Ezra is"

chopper beeps in agreement as he rolls to one of the access points beeping as he hack the mainframe before he comes onto the prison log when he disconnects 

Sabine "where is he Chop?"

Chopper grunts slightly 

Sabine "cell 8180?"

chopper grunts confirming what she has said, Sabine takes a step backwards 

Ahsoka "what is cell 8180?"

Sabine "it is designed to hold force sensitives and it is a room of torture"

Ahsoka "who in the force designed such a thing?"

Sabine "i did during my time in the Imperial academy i had no choice and now they are using it against my friend"

Ahsoka "come on Sabine, we should go rescue him"

as they run out of the hangar leaving chopper with the ship to guard it they arrive outside the cell where they think Ezra is.
