"Get out of here." Garroth turned and used one arm to push on Laurances stumach. He didn't stumble back or fall but he did give Garroth a look before he moved farther down the hill to pick up his beanie.

"Can we just go to the bigger hill? Maybe I will break my neck and I'll be put out of my misery." I said.

"Go down this one then." Garroth said, he smirked at me.

I looked down the hill which we had just barely gone down afew feet already. I imagine it would be much easier to just go on a bigger more steep hill.

"I don't know how to move." I said looking back at him.

"What do you mean? Just push forward." Garroth raised his eyebrows at me and laughed.

"What do you mean. How am I supposed to push when my feet are stuck in these things?" I motioned my hands towards my feet.

Garroth looked at me, one eyebrow raised. He placed one hand on my shoulder and gave me a shove. It startled me only slightly when I slid slowly across the snow, and then when I let the board go instead of stopping it picked up pace slightly. The hill must have been tiny compared to what I thought it was because the ride seemed to be over in less than ten seconds. Even though I stopped just about as slow as I started out I still managed to loose my balance and fall backwards facing fowards the hill.

Unless then a second Garroth stopped to the side of me. He was afew feet away, unlike earlier, which was probably because he didn't want to crash into me. He hadn't fallen or kicked up any snow during his stop, he just suddenly stopped moving. I looked up at him without moving.

"Big hill now?"

--------------------

"Ahh?" Garroth asked.

It seemed like he was talking to a child but I opened my mouth anyways. I grabbed onto his wrist wanting to be in as much controll as possible. I pulled his hand closer to my mouth and took a bite of his doughnut, which I hadn't asked for.

We both sat, in our pajamas, at a small table with the little coffee shop cafe to my back. No one else was around in the large room, other than the workers at the cafe and two other students who were sitting a ways away on a couch. I let go of Garroth's hand and let him put the doughnut up to his mouth, he bit at least a quarter of the whole doughnut off.

"Jesus you take gargantuan bites." I said. I layed my head down on my arm, which rested on the table. Garroth looked at me appalled.

"It's my doughnut." He said although he still had food in his mouth so it was slightly muffled. It was true, it was his doughnut and he had offered to buy me something which I refused.

"I know, you always take massive bites though." I said smiling.

"Take a big bite! Here." Garroth pushed the doughnut towards my face, I pushed his arm away with my free hand.

"No, I don't want it. You already bit it." I said purely to tease him.

Garroth glared at me.

"You already have my cooties." Garroth said his voice coming off slightly saddened.

"I know." I said.

Garroth scooted his chair back so he could put his chin flat on the table. His eyes were only slightly higher than mine now. He folded his bottom lip over itself and pouted at me.

"Are we on a date right now?" I asked, I knew the answer was no but it still kind of felt like it. It was nearly midnight sitting alone in out pajamas and sharing a doughnut felt more like a date than anything we've ever done. Garroth sat straight up again and looked down at me.

"No, especially since you wouldn't even let me buy you a doughnut." Garroth said.

"I don't want one." I said.

"I'll take you on a date, later. When we get home." Garroth said.

"No, I was just joking." I said remembering Garroth's hesitation about going on dates when we first started dating. How he told me he wasn't good at that, and was clearly nervous I was going to turn him down because of it. It seemed like when things weren't considered official dates he was completely fine.

"I will, I'll take you somewhere." He said.

"Okay." I said slightly quiet. I wasn't against it at all.

Garroth moved his arm to lean his hand and then remembered his sugary fingers.

"Are you gonna call me an iPad kid if I lick my fingers right now?" He asked.

I laughed.

"No." I said. Garroth looked at me through the sides of his eyes like he didn't believe me.

"Yes you are." He said.

"No I'm not. I'll lick your fingers." I lifted my head up off my arm. I said it partially as a joke but at the same time I definitely would have.

"No your not." Garroth said grabbing a paper towel off of the table, which had always been an option.
