This collection is a symbol of my personal journey through the range of emotions I feel every day. Of course, like all of us, someday the drive is fun, with interesting emotions for company, while on some others, it's just me alone traversing, contemplating my solitude.
Please read it at a pace that allows you to absorb layers that I have attempted to overlay with each word and verse. If you are one seeking the pleasures of the skin, the book may not serve your ends. However, for those seeking the pleasure of the soul, I welcome you with an open heart and open arms. These are not mere words preserved here, these are little parts of me scattered as words of joy amidst spaces of pain.

Books are companions that travel in our backpacks, sometimes sitting quietly in our laps, sometimes rest on our chest as we lay supine, and in those few ethereal moments, they talk to us. I hope these few pages accompany some heart-a heart longing to be longed for."
