"Matti," I called out. He's footsteps seize and he appears in the doorway, fully again. "Yes?" He asks.
"We're coming back." I state while I throw on a hoodie. I look over at him as he smiles at me and nods. "Yep. We're coming back." He assures me. He pivots on the balls of his feet and walks out of my bedroom door again.
I search in my drawer for sweatpants or leggings. It was way too cold to go outside in shorts. "Can I come in?" Sloane's voice spoke from the cracked door. I turned to face the door. "Yes mam." I speak.
She walks over to my desk and sits down in my chair as she watches me pull out a pair of leggings. I turn to look at her as she is clearly in the same bad mood as earlier. I raise my eyebrows, "What's up?" I ask her as she shrugs.
I close my dresser and walk over to the foot of my bed, I sit down and stare at her. "Sloane, what's up?" I ask her in more concern. She twirls her thumbs in her lap, unfocused on my words.
"You're going with Matti tonight?" She asks as I nod. "Yeah, running back to his house really quick, but what's wrong?" I ask as she nods. "It's really not that big of a deal, can we just talk about it when you come back?" She speaks timidly.
I raise an eyebrow, "You're scaring me, what is it?" I speak as she chuckles. She goes to speak but she's cut off. "Yo! Who has a weak pull out game!" Reese's loud mouth calls out from the hallway.
Sloane flies off of the desk chair and sprints to the hallway. I get up in alarm and follow her steps. I walk down the hallway to the living room. In Reese's hand is a Plan B box, he's holding it up in the air, laughing, but immediately stops as Sloane slams a punch into his stomach.
He lets out a cough, "Damn girl—you hit hard." He mutters. She glares at him, "Good. I'm glad it hurt." She grabs the box. "So it's you that had the oopsie?" He laughs while standing up straight.
He lifts his shirt up to rub his stomach—no his six pack, I have to look away because Reese is one fine son of a bitch. Stupid, but he's definitely not ugly.
Finn lets out a whistle as I watch Caden glare at her.
"No, of course it wasn't me." Sloane denies. Reese cocks his head, "So who had a pregnancy scare then?" He asks as everyone goes silent. The only sound heard was the scary movie that was playing on the television. Ironically—the main character was in a screaming fit on the screen, much like the scenario going on right now.
I felt eyes gaze over my body.
I looked over to the couch where Blake sat. He was staring at me in deep thought. Once he caught me looking at him, his stare turned into a glare. I swallowed as his intense glare turned into rage once Sloane admitted it wasn't her Plan B.
I shook my head at him to mentally tell him it's definitely not mine. He just rolled his eyes.
I look over at Caden, who's playing on his phone—like a child. It's clearly Sloane's Plan B and her having to take it, it's partially his doing. While she's facing the torment he's typing away.
I scoff. "Is it yours NJ?" Reese teases using Matti's nickname. Matti looks at him and scowls. "No Reese, is it yours?" I throw back at him. He laughs in response.
"It's mine." Nat says while eating a piece of popcorn. Griff looked bothered as he peels a slice of pepperoni off of his pizza. Reese raises his eyebrows, "Oh damn," He said. Griff nodded his head. "Reese you're pissing me off." Griff spoke.
Reese raised his hands in front of him in defense, "Hey bro, I just wanted to make sure if it were my girls, they were safe." Matti let out a loud laugh and Caden dropped his phone face down on his chest.
