"Two 'till ten." I told him, silently praying he'd agree to let me go. I knew what he said was law and my brother had no choice but to listen, the patch on Aces jacket said that he was president.
"Well go get ready, I'll take you and pick you up."
"Really?" I couldn't believe that the president of a motorcycle club was offering to take me to work and back.
"Yes."
"No."
They both spoke at the same time and Axel glared at his president in anger. Ace however took no notice and looked at me. "Go, I'll meet you at the bar in about an hour."
I didn't want to be there for an argument so I turned back around headed straight for my brothers room in search of a shower and a makeup wipe.
It took me nearly the whole hour and half to have a shower, get dressed and tease my hair into a scrunchie. I was just tying my laces when there was a knock at the door. I jumped up, grabbing my glasses and bag before opening it. On the other side was none other than Tahlia.
She regarded my uniform with disgust. It was a pink button up shirt, with the word 'Mels' embroidered onto the top left pocket, tucked into a black mini skirt. "You got work?" She asked moving out the way as I pulled the door shut behind me.
"Yes and I'm running late." I told her, quickening my pace as I headed towards the bar area. She struggled to keep up with me as I basically raced down the corridor.
"You wanna tell me what happened with Mac?" She asked, slightly smirking and I rolled my eyes at her, shaking my head.
"Nothing." I snapped. "He's an asshole."
"Did he hurt you?" She bellowed. "I swear I'll wring that bastards neck."
"No he didn't hurt me." I snapped again, loosing my patience for this conversation as I peered warily down at my watch. "He told my brother and Ace that I was a virgin."
"Ohhhh." She said knowingly, her tone causing me to slow down slightly as I awaited her to speak again. "That's where that rumours come from."
"What?" I squealed in horror, completely halting in my tracks. "Rumour?"
Her face drained of all colour as she took in my angry face. "Yeah," she squealed. "Everyone kinda knows your a virgin."
I facepalmed myself and groaned before remembering that Ace was probably waiting for me in the bar. And just as I rounded the corner I saw him speaking with Gunner and Diesel, an irritated look on his face.
"Oh finally!" He said sarcastically. "Only been waiting for ten minutes."
His tone irked me and I ground my teeth together while glaring at him. "You're wearing that to work?" He asked, his eyes raking up my tanned legs.
"Yes?" I bit out between clenched teeth. "Problem?"
"You're gonna have a bit of trouble getting on the bike." He smirked, running his tongue against his bottom lip. My eyes zoned in on the moment and I felt myself become flustered for a few seconds before I remembered this lunatic wanted me to get on the back of his Harley.
