"AYE!"

I looked over and saw Natsu and Gray sweating like crazy while having their arms around each other.

What the hell happened?

"Oh, hey there, Erza! We're just hanging out as good friends do. " Gray shookily said, "Aye!"

"Why is Natsu talking like Happy?!"

"That's great. I'm quite pleased to see the two of you getting along so well. However, it's only natural for even the best of friends to lock horns every now and then. " Ezra said.

"I don't know if we're the best of friends." Gray mumbles. "Aye."

"What's gotten into Natsu?!" I asked, almost panicked. Thankfully, someone answers. "He's scared," Mira said as I turned to face her."A few years ago, he challenged Erza to a fight, and she beat him up pretty badly." She explains while using the magic pen.

"That was a stupid thing to do," I commented.

"After that, she found Gray walking around naked, so she decided to beat him up too."

"And let's not forget she also beat up Loke for trying to hit on her," Macao added. He totally deserves it." Cana then continues.

Yeah, I can't say I blame her. I already imagine her beating up Loke.

Erza then spoke, "Natsu, Gray, I need you to do me a favor." This caught their attention. Their faces immediately turn neutral and they look directly at her. "While traveling, I heard something that has me worried. Normally I would consult the master before acting, but he's not here, and this is a matter of the utmost urgency. The two of you are one of the strongest wizards here. I could really use your help. " The guild then began to whisper, "We'll meet at the station tomorrow morning."

"Erza, Natsu, and Gray working together. I never saw that one coming. " I heard Mira say. I turned to look at her.

"This could be the most powerful team fairy tail ever seen."

Wow, really?

Ezra turns to leave, but after two steps, she suddenly stops.

"I expect you too to come, Layla."

Huh?

The atmosphere became stiff for a moment, but then a few seconds later, all hell broke loose.

"Oh my!"

"Is she serious?"

"Layla's here?!"

"Where is she?"

"Is she really asking for Layla's help?"

"Layla, of all people?"

The guild is now as loud as a market. It seemed that everyone couldn't believe what she had said.

Wait, who's Layla?!

There was a sound like a book closing, which magically made everyone shut their mouths. There was the sound of footsteps walking on the second floor, then someone walking down the stairs. When she finally reaches the bottom of the stairs, she finally comes into the line of my vision. I felt my mouth drop.

A beautiful woman stood there, wearing a white sleeveless dress that ended at her mid-thighs with a brown corset, highlighting her petite body. She also wears a pair of black high boots that extend just where her dress ends. She has black hair that is left freely flowing down her back and glowing golden eyes.

She came down while holding a book in her right hand. She continues walking until she's in front of Erza.

"You have Natsu and Gray. Why do I need to come? " She said Her voice is cold but at the same time gentle, causing me to slightly shiver.
