075. Everyone Knows I'm a Good Man

Arc 6 - My Mom was Trafficked (Chapter 67-73) - First repentant scum in the novel. Original was the son of a trafficked woman. After years of abuse, woman finally escapes from the village. Original went on a TV show to accuse his mom of 'abandoning' them and blaming her. Trigger warning for victim blaming. Years later, original also has a daughter of her own which was later abducted by human traffickers and suffered what his mom suffered. Calls for MC. MC comes in and persecutes the father, the village and the TV show host.

Arc 7 - Medicine Immortal (Chapter 74-82) - Another repentant scum. Original was a scammer, because he looks pretty, he deceived people into thinking he was an immortal, hands out fake 'life-saving jade' to his wife's family. Years later, he chose to ignore/not save a young girl (cos he's not really an immortal and can't fight), then he finds out the girl who died was actually his daughter. MC comes in and makes an elaborate tragic backstory why he was an immortal but has no spiritual power, why the jade didn't work etc XD We also find out some info about MC himself (Finally!), that he was a blind person in his original world. Hmm..

Arc 8 - Prepared in the Last Days (Chapter 83-100) - Aaand we're back to complete scums, the original wants to divorce his wife and chase a college student girl. He spends all the money in their family saying he's preparing supplies, wife can't stand it and finally asks for divorce and leave. Then the apocalypse came. No zombies but plants/animals all became larger and smarter. Original was a coward and never left the house till he died. MC comes in, since the original never left the house, he's going in blind and we get to see MC freely display his skills without worrying about OOC.

Arc 9 - Corrupt Government Official (Chapter 101-118) - Original is a scholar from a merchant family. Due to some accident, he marries the daughter of an official. He gets sent to a remote county. Dissatisfied, he starts taxing heavily and use his father-in-law's name to intimidate people until he's punished and also dragged his wife's family. MC comes in and leads the county (and later the whole country) to prosperity~~ Nation building.

Arc 10 - Modern Supernatural World (Chapter 119-122) - Short arc. Original is a teacher who encourage two students to commit suicide after being haunted by ghost then he committed suicide himself. MC comes in and he 'exorcised' the ghosts. Short, least fave arc so far.

Arc 11 - Republic of China Writer (Chapter 123-143) - Another scumbag. Original was adopted by his Uncle after his official Father did not want him. After growing up, their family suddenly becomes bankrupt, the original finds out the truth and hates his adoptive family for adopting him or he would be the son of an official now. MC comes in and help his adoptive family get up again by being a writer. Later, he used many different pen names to change the situation of their country.

Arc 12 - Last Cultivator in the World (Chapter 144-149) - Original was an orphan picked up by a monk, and was taught cultivation. Later, the monk died and the original became the last cultivator in the world. Unlike the monk, he didn't want to stay low-key but want to rule the world. Then the apocalypse came (meteorites again). Original only cared about himself then later died, the world is doomed too. MC comes in and as the last cultivator saves China then teaches everyone cultivation. Maybe author-sama is still on a patriotic fix from the last arc.

Arc 13 - World Teacher (Chapter 150-160) - Original was a scholar of the previous dynasty who was delayed four times in taking the imperial exam. After he passed the exam, the dynasty changed and his status as a Talent was not recognized. He became a refugee due to the war and was taken in by his wife's family to be a son-in-law. Original is a white-eyed wolf and harmed the family that took him in. MC comes in and establish his prestige by reforming two bear kids. Builds a school and cultivated many talents
