Chapter 3

"How about you stay here.. it's pretty crowded out there." he looked at the bar, " I'll get you something.. I know what you like"

"I'm not you pet dog." I said.

He cocked his eyebrow, "yes you are" and patted my head.

"Fuck you."

"Okay but- try not to- you know- talk to anybody. I know I'm not the boss of you but most guys here, they think with their dicks.. and that's not even metaphorical." he said.

"I'll be careful kookie." I said as he left to get us something to drink.

While I was just standing there, looking at my phone and answering mom's texts and Jihoo oppa's texts asking me if I was settling well, I heard a few whispers around myself,  targeted towards me but they were clearly trying to keep it low.. but sad for them, I have exceptional hearing..

"I never thought I would live to see the day Jeon Jungkook would be seen with a girl." some girl said.

"I never thought I'd see the day Jeon Jungkook would be seen with anybody." a guy said.

"She seems cool though" another guy said.

"And hot." a girl said.

"That ass though.." a guy said.

Before I could turn to reply to them Jungkook came back with a huge smile and drinks in his hand, "I didn't even have to wait in the line" he announced and those people behind us scurried away.

"The bartender was probably scared you'd crush him." I said.

"Nah, he's on the team, so he knows me." Jungkook said. "What? Why are you looking me me like that?"

"Are you a loner?" I asked.

"No?"

"Yes?" I said, "I literally heard people saying that they were shocked to see you with a breathing, living human."

"I just don't like people." he said.

"Yet they seem in awe of you." I said.

"Well, who wouldn't?" he said.

"My cockiness is rubbing off on you son" I said, "okay but, why don't you have a girlfriend? Or a boyfriend?"

"I just said I don't like people." he said.

"Yeah but there are some pretty fine people out here" I said, "that guy over there" I pointed to a dude who was chugging beer like there'd be no tomorrow.

"Not my type." Jungkook said.

"Okay her over there" I pointed to a cute, small girl who had amazingly sexy dancing skills.

"Nope." he said.

"Why?"

"Just no" he said.

"Okay then that one" I said," okay she's the hottest person I've ever seen. Period."

"Oh my god, out of all people?" Jungkook made a gagging gesture.

"Okay that's rude." I said.

"That's nothing- once you get to know her-" he said.

"Who is she?" I asked.

"Well, you see her gang?" he asked and I nodded, "they're the plastics but somehow worse."

"Oh please, that doesn't happen in real life.. those are movies." I said.

"Wait once you meet Mi Cha and her gang." he said, "I still don't understand what Jimin sees in her- okay well, it's probably her assets.. not gonna lie, they're great but Jimin isn't that shallow- even if he is, I seriously don't know how he tolerates her."

"And who's Jimin?" I asked.

"Ah you'll get to know soon enough" he said, "it's not like anybody shuts up about him anyway."

"You've turned cryptic" I said.

"Well, no homo but he's the hottest guy out here" Jungkook said.

"Uh- I beg to differ" I said.

"What? You're the hottest guy?" he asked.

"No. You are." I said, "honey, puberty hit you like a truck."

It was dark but I am about a 100% sure that he blushed, "wait till you see him. He's the captain of the team, he's great at studies, everyone's favorite, immensely good looking, there's not one thing the guy can't do... and he's actually a nice person.. To put it subtly, he's the only person I can think to hang out with without feeling the need to strangle him."

"Oh, how subtle" I said, "well, I wanna meet this dude now."

"All in good time" he said, "drink up now."
