Chapter 26 ⅔ - A Certain Parallel Blockade

Talent... of course she'll say something like that so casually... Damn it she's even a superior brawler than me as well.

No! Not this time!

"You think you're so great?! Im the protagonist here!"

"Huh? What's with that? She's definitely being very out of character." Puzzled from Mara's random shout, Jeong-Min slowly approaches until an emit of aura visually animating from Mara's body. Sensing another presence, Jeong-Min responded to her cautious feelings by backflipping away from the sudden gunfire that came from an invisible frisbee drone. With red auto lock lasers, force Jeong-Min retreat taking cover. Fortress able to hide behind the steel wall. Jeong-Min can only growl at being grazed from her waist. "Now you've done it!"

"You just don't get it "Jeong," I'm the one with the winning edge here!" Mara flashes the controller in her hand. The invisible ufo drones uncloak by Mara's command showing Jeong-Min to be surrounded.

"Tsk! Of course it couldn't be any easier than everything before this." The drones began to shoot rapidly of hellfire.

Jeong-Min was trapped behind the wall, helpless from taking any action. "Don't worry, just stay right there and you won't be hurt. Anyways I'll be taking my leave here." Mara mocks until the gates close, trapping her and Jeong-Min inside. "What?! The power line! No! You got him to hack them! Mara shouts afar,  confronting Jeong-Min.

"Chinpoko? But I haven't contacted him at all..." Jeong-Min questioned, taking a deep breath.

"Chinpoko? Umm that's very inappropriate." A soft voice said within Jeong-Min's phone. Uiharu connected to Jeong-Min's phone with a laptop on her lap. With a frail Akahana who rested on Uihara's shoulder, Uihara was more determined than ever.

"Oh... it's you. Wait, did you hack the entire sewers of Academy City?"

"Well it was a bit troublesome so I hacked into all the cameras placed during the Daihasei Festival, which was strange because there were no firewalls, as if they were already hacked before. But then I found out that the two of you went down Academy City's underground network, so I had the entire power line and found you. Don't worry that girl can't escape, I lockdown all the gates of the underground sewers. Don't worry I'll hack all of Academy City if I have too."

"Uhh..."

"What? What's wrong?"

"Oh nothing..." (I'm starting to realize how dangerous hackers are to this city.) Jeong-Min thought to herself as faint chibi image of Tedashii and Uihara flash in her head.

"This changes nothing!" Mara shouts, you'll set, I'll have to get past my weapons.

"Okay I'm going to find an escape route for you." Uihara promised as her fingers rapidly fired at her keyboard."

"Hey flower girl, by chance are you able to hack into those UFO drones?" Jeong-Min asked as she took swipe shurikens from off her lace straps.

"That'll be easy, but can you buy me fifteen minutes?" Uihara asks anxiously.

"Fifteen? That's it? Well damn girl! Then let's do this then!"

Uihara blushed and frantically shook her head, "Are you sure you can handle that? Those drones are dangerous!"

"It's fine! I think I can survive attacks from some stupid toys for fifteen minutes. If I can't handle this it'll be shameful to show my face again to the Oda clan."
