"Hey"

"What do you want?" I wipe my tears with the back of my hand

"I want to talk. It's been 7 months, Y/n. I know you're living with Jack now, he's standing right there watching us, making sure I don't do anything stupid" He laughs as I look towards the house, seeing Jack standing there with his arms crossed, glaring at Daniel.

"I want to know how you are, how Theo is doing. Can I hold him?"

"Yeah, go ahead" I hand Theo to Daniel and he gets the biggest smile on his face. It's moments like these where I wish I never left, but I felt like had to.

"Why?" I whisper

"Why what?"

"Why did you give her that ring? I don't care that you moved on, I'm happy you found someone.. but why that ring?" I lie, of course I'm not happy that he found someone, that should be me he's with.

"I.. I don't know. She asked me why I wore it on my chain, I just burst out saying I got it for her, I didn't have the heart to tell her it was yours" Even he sounds disappointed in himself

"It's nice to see you happy Daniel, even if it's not with me"

"I'm never going to be happy without you"

"But you are, you've got a new girlfriend, you've got all of your friends. What did I get? I got Jack." Daniel laughs. "Oh god, not that there's anything wrong with Jack, I love him to death, but it's not the same"

"I love you Y/n, I never stopped loving you, I'd love it if we could-"

"Daniel! Come on! We're cutting the cake soon!" Daniel rolls his eyes just from hearing Luna's voice, which causes me to laugh. He stands up with Theo still in his arms

"Please come back inside, the other boys would love to see you again"

I quickly nod my head and grab the diaper bag. Daniel and I head back towards the house. Jack grabs Theo from Daniels arms before Luna grabs Daniels hand. Jack kisses my temple and whispers

"I'm so proud of you, I would've ripped his head off"

"Thank you, and trust me, I wanted to"

We walk back inside the house, I place the diaper bag back on the ground where it was before and we walk to the back yard where the party was.

As Jack and I walk into the back yard, it's full of so many familiar faces that I thought I'd never see again. All the boys are here and even the ones I met at the party one time. A few older people are here, staring me down but I don't know who they are so I don't let them bother me.

"Y/n!" Zach shouts running over to me, engulfing me in a hug, almost knocking us both over

"Hey kiddo, How are you?" Jack laughs but tries turning it into a cough as Zach glares at him.

I hear more laughter so I look in the direction to see Jonah and Corbyn walking over to us. I give them both a hug and we start up a conversation

"How've you been? It's been a while" Jonah asks

"Theo! Your favourite uncle is here!" Corbyn says taking Theo out of Jack's arms and holding him close, swaying him back and forth

"I'm good, how are you guys? How's the album sounding? Do you have a release date yet?"

"The album is finally done, thank god. I don't think I could've spent more time in that little studio with these idiots" Zach says laughing causing everyone to turn to look at him
