M: All I need is some sleep right now, my shift was so shitty today.
The bakery was so busy today, half of the time I had to sit down while taking the customers orders, there was just that many today. Maybe since our competition was shut down for health issues, I mean, who doesn't clean their workplace every week? No wonder why they got infested with all types of feisty insects.
K: Hey..don't be down. Look on the bright side you Debbie downer, higher pay!
He tried sounding enthusiastic but I knew he was just as tired as me.
M: You can't fool me, boy. I'm sure you're just as beat as me right now, correct?
K: Hmm...
The phone flipped onto it's back and all I could see was the ceiling and for what I heard, the man was starting to doze off.
M: I see..we're gonna play that game now, hmm? Fine.
I stifled a laugh as I brought my warm blanket up to my nose and let my hand give up it's strength, pointing the device up to the ceiling like him.
K: What're we doing..?
M: Falling asleep on face-time, duh. Now zip it and close your eyes.
