Seraphina was waiting for John. As class ends, the class leave the classroom. John looks to see Seraphina.
"John." Seraphina calls with her arms close.
John makes a smile.
"Oh, hey Seraphina. Long time no talk." John says.
"Let's talk in private conversation." Seraphina says.
"Alright. Lead the way." John says.
Seraphina was walking in front. John takes out his phone and texts Zane. He puts away his phone.
*Empty Classroom*
"Woah, you weren't kidding about a private conversation." John says. "Not even over a walk or drinks? It's kinda making me nervous, haha."
"...." Seraphina stays quiet with her arms crossed. 'John.... I'm giving you chance because of earlier. I know there is good in you. And..... I still love you.'
Satou swings her knife at Seraphina. Joker holds Satou's wrist.
John and Seraphina kiss.
"Drop the act, John." Seraphina says strongly. "This Joker thing needs to stop."
This catches John's attention. He looks a bit serious. "...." "Sera, I already told you didn't I? I'm not Joker." he says.
"I saw your fight with the royals." Seraphina says.
"My fight? That guy has a mask on... It could've been anyone." John says.
"I recognized you." Seraphina tells John. "Not from your face.. But from your posture, your technique, everything else."
John turns around. "........"
"We've known each other so long... It was obvious-" Seraphina gets interrupted.
"How many times I have to say it? I'm not Joker." John says.
".....?" Seraphina looks surprised.
"If we've known each other doe so long then why won't you fucking believe me?" John shouts. "Hello? It's me, John! I'm a cripple! I don't have an ability! I like going out for drinks, and hanging out on the roof.... And exercising, and playing games. Sure, I act like a smart-ass and it gets me in trouble sometimes...!" he continues shouting.
"......." Seraphina stays silent.
"But have you seen the kinda shit Joker has done? That's not me!" John says while his fist are shaking. "Would I act like that? Do you really believed I'd do stuff like that?" he asks.
Seraphina looked nervous. "I didn't... Until I-" She gets interrupted as John grabs her shoulders.
"Sera.... I don't care what anyone else thinks. Everyone else can think I'm shit. But you have to believe me!" John says.
"......" Seraphina was looking at John.
"PLEASE! I'm not joker." John says with a tear of sweat. "I'm not a monster, okay?"
Seraphina looks surprised. '"Monster"? Why is he acting like this? Is he really still trying to convince me? Or... Is he trying to convince himself?' "Listen John, you have to stop lying. if there's something wrong, you can talk to me about it! Denying won't help-" she gets interrupted.
"I'm not denying anything!" John clenches his teeth. "I'm just telling it like it is!"
"....." Seraphina has a tear of sweat. "John, I already know everything.... New Boston, your expulsion, how you're secretly a high-tier..." she says.
