"I've never seen anyone switch up that fast." Shadow mumbled.
Miya shook his head, "For real."
"Go talk to her then!" I pestered Reki giving him a push towards the girls direction.
Shadow and Miya nodded in agreement, our gazes were now fixated on Reki who was walking towards the girl.
All of a sudden he paused, "Why did you stop?"
Reki turned to Langa, "Go talk to her Langa!" He whisper-shouted.
Langa cocked his head to the side and raised a brow, "Why me?"
Reki grinned and put his arm around Langa, "You know if it's me they get cautious." Reki let out a sheepish chuckle.
I rolled my eyes, "At least you're self aware."
"Know you're place!" Miya snorted.
"Shut up!"
"In Japan, how do you approach someone?" Langa questioned.
"Of course... Like 'Where are you from?' or..." Reki beamed his cheeks tinted pink.

"She's not you." Reki muttered.
"Damn you guys can't flirt for shit." I mumbled.
"Nor you, Reki. We're on a ferry departing from Okinawa so of course she's from Okinawa." Miya stated with his hand on his hip.
"Personally I'd love it if someone asked me if I was hungry and then bought me food." I added.
Miya snorted and turned to me, "That's because you're a pig, and because you suck."
"Is it insult reina day today or am I missing something?!" I sarcastically replied.
"Stop fighting already." Shadow groaned.
Then the girl that Reki was admiring suddenly spoke up and was walking our way, "What?" She asked.
Reki suddenly got bold and decided to make a move, "I-i do a bit of skateboarding but if you'd like-" He confidently asked, his hand on the back of his head.
"Hello? Yeah, sorry..." The girl walked straight past Reki and continued speaking on the phone.
Me, Miya and Shadow burst out laughing and held our stomachs to contain ourselves.
"You just got rejected!" Shadow snickered like a child.
"The misunderstanding's so embarrassing!" Miya continued to obnoxiously laugh.
"I'm so sorry Reki but- pfft I-!" I couldn't hold in my laughter and wasn't able to talk.
"-Don't worry." Langa said in English.
"Yeah don't worry Reki, if you can't get a girlfriend just settle for a guy." I copied Langa and spoke in English too.
Reki looked at us both unable to understand what we were saying, "I'm not depressed!" He yelled, still embarrassed from what had just happened.

I'm sorry for not making a real chapter in so long I've just been stressed lately but if u vent now y'all won't read what I have to say!!
Spring break is here so I can finally rewrite this book(I won't delete this one)
I'm rewriting it because it's in the lowest # and CANNOT be found like I work on this shit soooo hard (I'm sorry I'm literally half asleep rn)
The reader will be a woc(black queen like me) but they'll be blasian(like mee).
So yeah there's that I know there's many poc readers who are another ethnicity not just Japanese(ik Japanese ppl r poc) I love being inclusive
I'll release it when I finish the whole beach episode on this book lol.
