I woke up to the ray of sunshine glimmering on my face. I squinted my eyes and slowly stretched out my arms as I got up from bed. I wore the hotel slippers on my feet and went straight to the bathroom to do my morning routine. 

*ring ring*

I wiped my face with a towel and dried my hands before getting my phone on the bedside table to answer the call. 

"Mmm, ano?", I asked lazily. I placed the phone back on the table and put it on speaker mode. 

["Ate, are you up now?"], rinig kong sabi ni Zara sa kabilang linya. I did a few body stretches to make myself a little more lively. 

"Yeah, kakagising ko lang. I'll go to the branch later after I eat breakfast." I jumped back into bed and opened my laptop to do some early morning work. 

["Ok, then. I'll call later when you're about to head down there. You will definitely love the place!"], she said excitedly. I chuckled hearing her voice. ["How was yesterday though?"], she curiously asked. 

"Ok lang naman. I just hung out with Lili." Naalala ko tuloy nung nakita ko si Blaze kahapon. I wasn't really sure if that was him or if I was just tripping so I didn't bother to tell Lili. I know they have zero communication now so I didn't want to bring up anything. 

"Eh kayo? Kamusta kayo diyan?", tanong ko kay Zara habang nagtitipa sa aking laptop. 

["We're okay. Nasa bahay ako ni dad ngayon. Nag-iimpake ako. I'll go back to your house later to check on Nay Fellie."] 

"Sige, I'll just do some work first and I'll head down to the branch."

["Oh, I actually prepared a surprise for you there."] Napatigil ako sa pagtitipa sa sinabi niya.

"What is it?", I asked curiously. 

["Ito naman. Surprise nga eh. Just wait and see for yourself. Plus, early birthday gift ko na rin yan sayo."] I rolled my eyes at her remark. 

"Ok, fine. Bibilisan ko na para makita ko na yang surprise mo. Sige na!" Inihip-ihipan ko ang aking kape para mainom ko na ito. Zara ended the call already when I checked my phone. Hindi man lang nagpaalam. 

As soon as I finished my work, I took a shower and put my clothes on. I wore a white off shoulder top with puffy sleeves tucked in my mom jeans paired with a Louis Vuitton belt. I put on my nude Louboutin pumps and sprayed my signature Chanel perfume on my body. Simple lang din ang make up ko. I usually just go for bb cream for the base, eyebrow pencil to fill in my brows, a mascara for my lashes, a light pink blush for my cheeks, and a nude lipstick. I got my phone and put it inside my Louis Vuitton Croisette Damier Ebene bag. 

Bumaba ako sa lobby at kumain muna ng breakfast sa restaurant bago pumunta sa mall ng Marina Bay. Naligaw pa ako at hindi ko mahanap ang Suarez Label sa loob dahil sa laki ng mall na ito.
