Chapter 46

Taehyung smiled, "Thanks guys, it means a lot" 

After we ate, shared some tea and joked around, it was finally time for us to get going. Jin came to fetch me while my two friends went home. 

"How's school today?" He asks as he was still facing his laptop

"mmm, usual. Some lectures are a bit boring, me getting hungry after taking in a lot of words"

"How's baby?" 

"Baby's alright, just a bit hungrier than usual. The baby bump's growing, so I think I should start wearing loose clothes now" I replied 

"How about we go shopping tomorrow? It's a Saturday after all" 

I nodded and yawned "Sure and I miss spending time with you..." 

"You should rest Junghee, don't stay up and wait for me" Jin said as he placed a kiss on my templed. "Good night, I love you"

The next day, Jin and I went out to eat lunch first. After that, we went on to pick clothes. 

"How about this?" Jin showed me a yellow floral sun dress "It'll look cute on you, and when the bump shows, it'll look even cuter" 

I smiled at him "It looks cute. I'll take it" 

"Oh how about this one?" Jin asked as he held up two other sun dresses "or this one?"

"Jin-"

"Since we can't choose which one, we'll take all three. C'mon Junghee pick more clothes" Jin said as he dragged me over to another section. I giggled at how excited he is. He's more excited than me. 

I find it cute though. 

I also picked out some leggings, sweatshirts, and two pairs of sneakers just so I can be comfortable attending classes and walking around. 

"Look at these. Should we get two? I think couple socks are cute" he said "Junghee...look, it has a tiny one for babies"

I looked at the socks Jin was holding, and my heart immediately melted as I noticed how he looked at the tiny one. He must really be excited for the baby to come.

"Alright, let's get it" I chuckled.

After we picked out everything we need, Jin paid for all of it. It doesn't cost that much since I told him not to take me to an expensive store this time. He also picked out clothes that he liked, although I forced him to try on a dress just this one time. We argued for a bit but he eventually gave up and did it. 

And when I tell you, my tummy hurt from laughing too much that I thought the baby might be misplaced by how I cackled and laughed at Jin. He was annoyed but ended up laughing too. 

"I'm thirsty, I'm kinda craving for boba milk tea right now..." Jin said "Do you want one too?" 

I nodded, it felt like every food that Jin mentions instantly becomes my craving. 

"I wanna eat cake too, like a slice of strawberry shortcake" He added. 

"now that you mentioned it, I want one too" I smiled as we walked out of the store with paper bags in hand. 

As we arrived the milk tea shop, my eyes immediately landed on the sweets displayed inside a bakery glass display thingy or whatever they call it. It's not about that, it's about the pastries right now.

"Hello, what would you guys like?" The cashier asked 

"can we get two slices of strawberry shortcakes, one peach lychee milk tea, and one caramel milk tea. Would you like anything else, Junghee?"

I shook my head before Jin handed his credit card to the cashier. "Thank you, please wait for your order"

As we found a seat, Jin smiled and looked at me. "It's been a while since we went on a date like this" 

I chuckled "Yeah, you always take me to expensive restaurants. I mean, I like it but sometimes I miss simple dates like this" 

He grinned "Let's go on a date like this more often, then. Whenever I have time I'll take you out on a cafe date, or a simple picnic at the park, a trip to the beach or wherever you want"

"I just want you to be happy" He said as he rested his cheek on his palm "That's what matters the most"
