I made a quick decision that I knew I would regret very soon. Well, I'm Percy...I'm rash.

"I would have to travel with the hunt" I said startling many gods and goddesses, none more than the goddess of the hunt. Artemis looked ready to put an arrow through my skull or in a worse place.

"No! I shall not allow the boy to accompany the hunters" she screamed. I was about to reply but dad beat me to it.

"You don't have much of a choice Artemis. Also you owe it to him for voting to banish him" said Poseidon. Artemis looked like she wanted to retort but couldn't find anything to say. She just grumbled something.

"Oh come on now, I'll remove your punishment if you do" I said. Some of the punished deities looked at her enviously. She just groaned and nodded.

"Very well, let's go then. But before I do, none of you will ask of my abilities and powers. Neither will you interfere with my tasks" I said threateningly. Some gods like Zeus, Athena and Ares looked ready to turn me into a frog...only if they could.

Artemis walked towards me and roughly grabbed my shoulder, flashing us to the hunt. We reappeared in a thick forest.

[[{ Sorry people, but some of the things at the hunt might be a cliché. Don't hate me }]]

The hunters sensing Artemis, walked to greet her. They didn't notice me, who was following her. When they did, immediately I had twenty bows pointed at me.

   'Déjà-vu' i thought chuckling.

I looked at Artemis like 'are-you-serious?'. She muttered some curses before ordering the hunters to lower the bow.

The hunters were confused at their mistress's order but followed it nevertheless. But that didn't stop them from glaring at me. I rolled my eyes.

"So Artemis, I believe you owe them an explanation." I said. The goddess in question sent a withering glare at me before turning towards her hunters.

"Perseus here, will be staying with the hunters for an undefined period of time." Immediately, cries of protest and disapproval were heard from the hunters gathered.

"But Milady, he is a traitor to Olympus!" shouted a familiar voice of my lieutenant cousin. I felt a pain in my heart seeing her accuse me. My sadness turned to anger but I controlled it.

I didn't want to do something I'll regret... well, more than normal anyway.

Artemis was about to reply but I beat her to it. "I will tell you what I told the Olympians before I was banished." I said. They waited me to continue but I just kept silent.

"What? I didn't tell them anything. The trial was very one-sided" I said throwing my hand in the air exasperated.

The older hunters stared angrily at me, while I could tell the younger hunters were trying to suppress a laugh. I smirked in achievement.

Maybe this won't be so terrible. I walked towards the campfire to set up a tent, but was stopped by Artemis.

"What do you think you're doing?" Asked the moon goddess. I just raised my eyebrows in irritation. Maybe this will be terrible.

"Going to set up a tent?" I said but it came out more as a question. "Oh no, not yet. First you have to cook dinner for the hunters. Don't expect us to treat you fairly." She said with a mischievous smirk. I just rolled my eyes.

I walked towards the dining table, which I somehow knew the location of, and concentrated. Shadows formed on the table, accompanied by fire that sprouted from the ground. As quickly as it came, it disappeared. Where the flames and shadows once were, there was now the grandest of dinners. It had nearly every dish, you could ever ask for [[{ Imagine a Hogwarts feast }]]

The hunters followed me and their jaws dropped seeing the food ahead of them. I just simply made my way past them to the outskirts of the camp. I stomped my foot on the ground and vines sprang forth from it.

The vines formed a beautiful adobe. It's walls had the most colourful of flowers embroidered in them and gave of the most lovely of smells. I walked inside and there was a bead made out of the softest of leaves. I lay down on it, sighing in content.

I drifted to sleep while looking at the ceiling which gave off a golden glow. My eyes closed and after a while, I felt myself fall asleep [[{ I don't think it's physically possible too feel yourself fall asleep...but you know, humour me }]]

I was drifting through a familiar darkness before a same raspy voice from my last dream spoke.

"Ahh, the Light Bringer returns. You will be a tasty snack"
