I reappeared at the bottom of Camp Half-Blood hill. Lucifer's words kept playing in my head. What did he mean? What is to come? I decided to think about it later and made my way to Thalia's tree.

I petted Peleus, making him purr softly. Suddenly I heard a loud noise in the wood and turned someone running towards me. It was a girl around the same age as me. What worried me was the hellhound chasing her.

Seeing the monster, Peleus shifted against the tree threateningly. I patted his head, making him relax.

Quickly uncapping riptide, I charged at the hellhound. I made quick work of it, and it disintegrated into golden dust, which also happened to spray all over me.

I coughed and shook myself clean and went to check on the girl. I saw her lying on the floor, with multiple scratches and wounds littered all across her body.

She had long auburn hair, which was tied in a ponytail. Her clothes were simple but had scratches in numerous places. She had kaleidoscopic eyes that kept changing colour.

I approached her and knelt beside her. I reached out my hand, but she flinched as I did.

"Hey hey, it's okay... I'm Percy." I said, trying to appear non-threatening. "What's your name?"

"A-Andromeda," she replied. She tried to stand but gasped as she fell down in pain. I quickly rushed to her side to check what was wrong and noticed the claw marks near her left abdomen.

The wound was deep, and I didn't have any nectar or ambrosia on me. I had given it all to Lucifer.

I started to panic. At this rate, the girl would bleed out in minutes. There was no satyr nearby either. Suddenly, the entire forest became silent. Birds stopped chirping, grass stopped rustling. For a second, even the wind stopped blowing.

The only sound was the clanking of metal that could be heard from a distance, probably from the demigods training arena. Then a light breeze blew by.

'Embrace the light within you,' I heard a voice in the wind say.

I didn't know what it meant, but I let my instincts take over. I calmed myself and pictured a brightly burning flame. The flame signified rebirth, renewal, a new beginning and many other things.

I let the feeling of the flame wash all over me. I opened my eyes to see that I was now glowing. Andromeda looked at me in shock.

"Calm down, I can heal you," I said. I didn't know how I was so sure, but I was. I placed my palm over the wound and concentrated. I let some of my power flow into the damage and felt the tears mend themselves.

I opened my eyes to see that her wound had healed completely. I cut off my power and felt myself stop glowing. Andromeda looked ready to faint. Not from weariness but shock.

I smiled at her, and to my surprise, she smiled back.

She tried getting up, surprised when she didn't have any problem in doing so. She looked at me with awe and amazement in her eyes.

"Woah, that was...awesome!!! I've never felt this strong in my life." She exclaimed excitedly."I feel like I could run a hundred miles and still have energy left!!!"

I raised an eyebrow, amused at her cheerfulness. Mental note: Don't give out too much power.

"Well, Andromeda, I feel we should go for a walk before I explain certain things to you," I said, leading her towards camp. By now, I was sure that she was a demigod.

I then explained to her about the Greek world and related stuff. I skipped the part of me being the saviour of Olympus. That would just cause her to act differently around me.

"...and that's one of the few reasons why Zeus should take up ballet." I finished.

"Wow, that's a lot to take in," she said, slowly shaking her head. "And you're not Nico's type?"

   "So he says," I laughed.

"Anyway, here we are," I said and ushered her inside the camp. Her jaw dropped as she took in the view. I smiled, remembering my first reaction to the place. Out of the corner of my eyes, I saw Annabeth approaching me. I smiled, and she smiled back. Then she looked at Andromeda, and her smile dropped a little, confusing me.

"Hi Annabeth, this is Andromeda. She's a new camper. Andromeda, this is my gorgeous girlfriend, Annabeth Chase, Architect of Olympus. " I told them. Annabeth smiled proudly at her title while Andromeda looked at her with admiration.

"Hi Percy, hello Andromeda. Percy, can I talk to you for a minute." She asked me. I nodded and gestured for a nearby camper to take Andromeda to the big house for the orientation video.

"So Annabeth, what did you wanna talk about?" I asked, following her. She turned toward me with an eyebrow raised.

"Where were you till now?" She suddenly asked.

I raised an eyebrow at her tone, but maybe it was just because she was stressed about something. I wondered if I should tell her about Lucifer, but my gut was telling me not to, for some reason.

"Uh...nowhere I haven't been before," I said cryptically, "Just went over for a walk in the forest and got lost,"

For some reason, I couldn't bring myself to lie. It felt...odd. I think it had something to do with being Prince of Lies.

Maybe that meant I couldn't lie either

Still, what I told wasn't a lie, more like a partial truth.

"Uh-huh, sure..." She said, her eyes narrowing and studying me. She didn't look convinced but decided to drop the subject either way.

I sighed. Annabeth had been acting quite differently after Tartarus.

Tartarus...the very place that sends chills to spines of the gods when spoken. Every time it was mentioned, memories of our time there used to haunt me.

But now, for some reason, it didn't even bother me. Thinking about Tartarus no longer brought back memories. It almost seemed...pleasant.

I heard the conch horn blow, signalling dinner. I sighed one last time and made my way to the tables.

The hero walked back towards the pleasant sound of dinner plates, not noticing the figure watching him. Quite like the wind, it spoke:

"Rest young hero, the world needs its Light Bringer."
