Be Dressed For Anything

Start from the beginning

"I see you're ready. Now let's get to back to Earth. Chaos is pretty whiny when it comes to waiting" he said and walked toward me.

"So, we are in a different dimension now and stuff now?" I asked. He just rolled his eyes like I was stupid.

"I still don't get why people don't understand what dimensions are. Travelling through dimensions is completely different than what it is shown as. We on the other hand, are in a... different reality. Kind of like a parallel universe, but not on that big of a scale." He said. [[{ Sorry, I had to say that. Scientific inaccuracies really irritate me. It's one of the reasons I don't watch sci-fi or anime stuff }]]

"Ok...whatever you said" I said rubbing the back of my head.

He just facepalmed and and grumbled something on the lines of 'Why do you allow this Dad?'.

"Take care, my champion" he said, while placing his hand on my shoulder. I again felt my body dissolve and travel inwards and outward through space.

The next thing I know is I'm standing a few meters away from the base of the Empire State Building. I look around and see a man completely dressed in heavy clothes sitting nearby.

He was dressed like he would any minute be abducted and forced to travel the world. He wore clothes of every fashion, every fabric and every texture. He looked really weird.

He didn't radiate any sort of power, but something told me that the person was chaos. I carefully approached him and sat next to him. "Beautiful day huh." He said to me. I just raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah it is, but you could probably make my day better" I said before hearing how wrong that sounded.

"Uh...I didn't mean...you know what I meant..." I said going red. The man just laughed. "Yes, I know. I must say Perseus, when lucifer called in that favour, I really did not expect him to ask this of me." He said while I just looked ahead.

"But I must say, the olympians are seriously stupid. I mean...who does that to their saviour" he exclaimed. I shrugged and remembered the day that they had banished me. Before a thought came to my head.

"How long has it been here since I was banished? I'm pretty sure time runs differently where I was" I asked him. He replied almost instantly.

"It's been approximately twelve days and eighteen hours" he said. I nodded and wondered what to do next.

"I think we should hurry. This physical body is...so small. It's so uncomfortable, like a thousand bugs are crawling all under your skin" he said and I cringed at his explanation. [[{ I'm very uncomfortable around bugs...especially spiders😅}]]

"Wow, thanks for the image" I said sarcastically.

Chaos rolled his eyes and stared walking towards the building entrance. Right before he reached, he turned towards me with a curious look.

"Tell me... what did hell look like? I'm not exactly permitted to mess with Big G's work and so I haven't really been there" he said. I just thought back to my brief stay there.

"It's a huge apartment" I said with a straight face and walked inside the building.

Chaos just looked at me weirdly before sighing and following me. He went straight into the elevator, not sparing a glance to the doorman. Speaking of the doorman, his eyes widened when he looked at me and it was almost like he forgot to breathe.

I just ignored him and made my way towards Chaos. Still not paying attention to the gaping doorman, Chaos pressed his hand at the elevator walls and the elevator closed. Without a key, it accelerated quickly and traveled at speeds that could only lead to Olympus.

The doors opened to reveal Olympus in all its glory. And by glory I mean it looked like trash, compared to all the other things I had seen over the past few days.

Chaos just grabbed my arm and I was flashed to the Throne room. 'Why couldn't he do that before' I thought grumbling to myself.

The throne room was empty, save for Hestia. She was sitting by the hearth, tending it. When her eyes landed on me, they nearly fell out of her sockets.

She rushed towards me, giving me a bear hug that might have crushed my ribs, had it been a few days ago.

When she let go of me, she had confusion written all over her face. I just smiled at her and gave her a look that said 'I'll-explain-later'

"Lady Hestia, could you please summon the council" I asked. Hestia rolled her eyes. "It's just Hestia to you dear" she said and walked towards her throne.

I noticed that the two new thrones were completed and I must say, Hephaestus did a really good job.

< I'll leave the throne design to your imagination, cause describing it would be a pain. All you need to know, is that one throne is fiery red-orange while the other is obsidian black>

Hestia sat on her throne and it glowed momentarily brighter. A second later, the olympians flashed in.

Only after everyone was seated, did I get noticed. Apollo just looked at me like he saw me every day and waved.

"Hey Percy, how are y- wait what? How the fuuuuu...?"
