Imade looked stunned as she thought about asking Dele to move out of her apartment.

‘How is that even possible?’ she asked herself repeatedly.

‘This is an opportunity to leave this village, at least. Into somewhere better with someone as caring as he is.? I’m never going to ask him out. She concluded and entered her shop.

“What happened, Imade? Where’s your mother?” Dele asked.

“She left.” Her voice sounded low and guilty.

“What? Without saying goodbye? I didn’t even get the chance to greet her well.” He painfully retorted.

“No, Dele. There’s no need for all of that. I mean... You’ll still meet her again, right?” She held her forehead as if she had a headache or something.

“Okay...” Dele answered her and handed her the money Shade paid for her hair. #2,000.

Imade opened a drawer under the mirror table and kept the money there.

“Are you alright?” Dele asked. “Why do you look pale so suddenly? He moved closer to her, cupping her golden face in his hands.”

Imade rolled her eyes and looked away, uninterested.

“You were smiling just now. What did your mum said about me? Or... Should I meet her? To make things clear, at least.”

About to leave, Imade grabbed his hand.

“Don’t go anywhere, please. It would just worsen matters.”

“She doesn’t like me, right?” He muttered, but it sounded so low, anyone who heard his voice would have known how sad and emotional Dele was that very instant. “I won’t let her talk to you like this. I’d just leave.”

“No, please!” She held his back again, tears welling up in her chocolate brown eyes. “Please... Don’t leave me.”

Dele wanted to go home to pack his luggage, but he just couldn’t leave Imade in that state. She looked so heartbroken even without him leaving, and the last thing he ever wanted was to let her cry or suffer because of him.

“Don’t worry, my love. I wouldn’t leave you. That’s a promise.” He uttered, wiping away her tears that were already dropping.

“I can’t believe we met yesterday, and I’m so in love with you already. I mean... I’ll feel hurt too if I leave you.”

“So you’re not leaving?” Imade asked tears.

“Yes. I won’t leave you.” He smiled, giving her a warm hug. “Stop crying now, please. You’re no longer a baby, are you?”

Imade couldn’t help but to let out a soft laugh. “You’re so ridiculous.”

“See pot calling kettle black?” He joked as they chuckled for a while. Dele ended up staring into Imade’s eyes. She glimpsed back intensely into his black-night eyes. And then, his smile faded as so suddenly. It was as if he saw something extremely beautiful in her eyes, and it awed him. It was as if she caught sight of a precious gem in his eyes, too. Not just any kind of gem than others recognize; but that which only she knows about. And she’d like to hold on to it, forever.

“I love you so much, Imade.” Dele’s lips uttered as he moved closer, his faces, focusing on hers.

“I love you too, Dele. Never leave me. I know many people would talk and object to this, but please. Don’t leave without me; Else, don’t know what would happen to me, or I would do to myself. I might just kill mys__” The next thing she noticed was Dele’s lips on hers.

His perfect lips captured hers into a soft touch. She loved it. She loved him. All of this was something she loved. Even though her heart was burning because of his touch, she gently placed her hands on his board, comfy chest that looked so built. Although one could easily feel the heat burning inside of her, she.

wrapped her hands firmly around his neck.

Her soft lips captured his in a tender grip, and he brushed through hers, kissing her passionately. His kisses were magical. They tasted like a flavoured wine from paradise; that which Imade hasn’t tasted before because the feeling is undescribable, but she loved it. She wanted it. She needed it. Imade felt like his every single touch, and his perfect move on her body sent firecrackers to the whole of her body. It was warm at first, but it was getting warmer and wetter. Dele’s hands crawled to her neck, grabbing her soft, natural hair full fist. He tilted his head again, capturing her upper lips.

It’s been long since Imade last had a kiss like this... it’s been 5 long years. A day before; when he came- Imade made him sleep on the bed but he insisted it’s not necessarily so, she slept on the bed while the used the floor. Later that night, she’d turned towards him, imagining how a whole full grown man would leave a city like Lagos to pay her a visit. She finds herself lucky indeed, and Dele was her charm. The thought of last night and how she adores but avoided his poured into her mind. She couldn’t help but to smile.

She chuckled a little and had one last ‘tcew’ before ending the kiss.

“What’s wrong, Imade? What’s funny?”

“I was just thinking about last night. I think if we have so much spark like this, our nights would differ from last night.”

“Yes,” He muttered and smiled at her words. “Definitely. But, it's fine if you want us to sleep like how we did yester-night. Anything fine by you is fine by me, too.”

Imade stared at him once mores rubbing her hand over his head romantically. She stood up from her as she was sitting and came to sit on his laps with her right arm, hanging on this shoulder.

Holding his face up to meet hers with her other hand, she smiled at him and whispered.

“This night would be different. Other nights we would ever spend together would be beautiful, too. I promise you that.”

Although she sounded really low that Dele hardly heard her words, but it sounded so romantic.

‘Damn! I’m so in love with this lady!’ a voice cried in his head. And he shook it off.

As if her words turned him on; he fully grabbed her waist to himself, glimpsing lustfully into her eyes.

She gently nibbled on her lower lip and lowered her head as her sweet lips capturing his in a soft touch; for that outstanding, flavoured taste she loved.

Dele looks held to her face, fully. Making her take all of him. It was just their first kiss, but it didn’t look it. It feels as if they’d known each other for so long. Dele’s larger hands grabbed her heck again and traced her dark, golden skin into her full, succulent breasts. He could feel it. His hand fitted into his palms. Gently squeezing it, Imade quivered to his touch. But she loved it, so she wouldn’t stop. She made his desirous feeling fill her like a hunger. He also filled her with thirst, like water. Just then, they heard a voice...

“Knock knock here. I want to wash and stretch my hair.”
