Chapter 19: Free at last?

Emi's POV:

Soon enough someone grabbed me and held onto me. I opened my eyes to see Yuno. "Yuno? What happened?" He made a 'tsked' noise. "You almost died, idiot. Watch your surroundings." I smiled sheepishly.

"hehe, sorry."

"whatever.." He mumbled. "Can you fly?" He asked while holding onto me. I thought about it for a while. "uhh..I'm not sure.." He groaned. "What do you mean you're not sure?!"

"I mean, I'm not sure! Do you not understand the words that are coming out of my mouth?"

"I'm going to let you go. If you're unable to fly then I'll pick you back up."

I mentally slapped myself. 'Did you not hear what I ju-' When I was TRYING to finish my thought, he let go of me. I closed my eyes.

A few moments later, I slowly opened my eyes, revealing that I am flying. 'I'm actually flying. What the hell.'

"YUNO!! LOOK! I'M FLYINGGGGGGGG" He mentally slapped himself because of my childish behavior. "YUNOOOO LOOO-" Before I could say anything else, the wretched demon grabbed a hold of me.

I screamed. "EMI!"

"AHHH, HELP MEEE! I DON'T WANNA DIE!" I ranted about my safety. Asta flew towards me and slashed the demon's arm then held onto me. "Ahh, thank you, Asta!" I hugged him.

"Y-yeah..It's no problem! I'll protect you no matter what!" I smiled. "I know you would..." The demon screeched. I covered my ears. 'That damn demon is going to make me deaf'

I puffed out my cheeks. "You dumb demon! You're going to make me go deaf!" I pouted a bit. The demon started to scream louder. "Asta! Kill that damn demon already! I'll hand you some of my magic." (Like her cosmos magic yk).

After I gave some of my magic to Asta, his sword started to change into a purple kind of color in the middle. Everyone widened their eyes except Asta and me. "Alright Asta! You can let me go now." He then let go of me, making sure I was ok.

He then started to attack the demon, including Yuno helping him. "EVERYONE WILL DIE HERE. JUST YOU WATCH."

Then suddenly, a black slash came towards the demon, slicing him in half. It surprised everyone except Asta and me, again. 'Captain Yami, aye?'

Suddenly the demon started to scream nonsense. I then covered my ears, so did everyone else. "ACK! WON'T YOU JUST SHUT UP ALREADY, RAT!" I screamed. Soon after I screamed Nozel yelled, "We need to get out of here NOW!" Everyone nodded their heads and began to leave the shadow palace.

Once everyone got out, the whole building collapses. I sighed. 'Thank god everyone got out in time.'

"Hey, I think it's time for us to go now.." I turned around to see Licht and Patolli's bodies started to glow. "Ahh, I think it's time for ALL of the elf tribe and me to go." Lemiel turned towards me and we stared at each other, not saying a word. "I'm glad I got to meet all my descendants, including you, Emi. Strive hard..and never give up alright.."

I widened my eyes. After what he just said, tears started to accumulate from my eyes. "You'll make a fine wizard queen." I quickly wiped all my tears and nodded with a huge smile plastered on my face. "Yeah! Thank you."

Then, all the elves that were once reincarnated, started to fly up into the sky. "I hope we see each other in the afterlife. Farewell." After his speech, his body broke into little pieces. I then went over to Yuno and tugged on his clothes.

He turned his head towards me.

"Hmm..?"

"C-can I stay by your side f-for a bit..?" He nodded his head. I then laid my head on his shoulder.

"OH NO YOU DON'T" Rades blurted out. I huffed. 'Just when I was going to take a quick nap.'

He took out his grimoire and this line(?)(MAY I REMIND YOU. I SUCK AT DESCRIBING STUFF) started to grab on to a soul and put it back in Licht's formal body. I widened my eyes. I stomped towards Rades and grabbed onto that collar of his shirt(?)

"WHAT THE HELL, RADES. NO ONE IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD DO THAT"

"I-I'm still alive..?" I widened my eyes and turned my head around to see patolli in Licht's body. "P-patolli..?"

Patolli looked at me. "E-emi...? How am I still alive..?" I huffed. "Ask this douche bag." I pushed Rades in front of me.

"One of my spell's can bring another person back to life if I stayed with them most of the time(?)" I mentally slapped myself.
