Welcome to Iguanatopia!
This is a story written for the Open Novella contest 2021 and it's based on prompt #34:
Strange and unlikely circumstances lead to someone's pet iguana becoming the most feared and respected Captain, during the Golden Age of Piracy.
This story is set in a fantasy world, where magic does exist and all kinds of shenanigans can happen, but the setting is heavily influenced by the Caribbean in the 1700s.
This is actually my first full original story (I usually write fanfiction) so writing this was unchartered territory for me when I began. But... I finished it! Well ahead of time as well. So the whole adventure is available for you to enjoy right away.
