ONC 2021 contest prompt 64 What should have been a simple task for a trio of ghosthunters becomes something for which the term "Worst Case Scenario" is the mother of all understatements. Sandra, Amelie, and Candice are the three tough women who run "Third Eye Investigations". Recently, ghosts have been popping up everywhere, providing a great business opportunity for clever people with the right skill sets. Ousting a bunch of ghosts from a chocolate factory? Piece of cake. Perhaps, the simple fact the guy commissioning the job was called Borgia should have warned them. Well, it didn't . As a result, things went south so badly, the three are now dead, banned to an underground morgue, while the world is hurtling towards Ghost Apocalypse. There is no way out of the chilly drawers. Unless they do the impossible.

Keith's dare leads him to find his right match on one of the world's most famous dating apps, called Magical Match. It's a strange dating app that doesn't pair you with another human but with supernatural lore and magical creatures. Still, the guys think it's an excellent initiation for the new guy, even though Vivienne, Keith's new girlfriend, warns him. Keith gets paired up with Death-called Freya. All is good fun until Freya shows up and all of Keith's friends started to disappear.

My Submission for the Open Novella Contest 2021 Kev, Jules and Steve have to banish a demon that's been summoned while completing Latin homework. I'm having a little experiment and playing around with voice and narrators, it's a bit different to what I normally write and there would normally be a much longer timeline. I hope you enjoy!
