Chapter 11

Kajol was hardly trying to focus on her lectures through the day, she wanted the time to pass quickly so she could spend some other time with Shahrukh at lunch. She decided to do her best to focus so it would be easier for her to study or she would take a long time in her room trying to collect what she missed. She wanted to pass every single second with Shahrukh as much as she could.

'do I have to be a boss to sneak out of my company whenever I want?' Kajol asked when she closed the door on her side of the car

'I don't sneak out' Shahrukh giggled and said 'I just work hard, finish all what needs to be finished then I get rewarded meeting you' he said humbly

'so the company is in good hands?'

'absolutely' he said confidently

'I am just checking. I don't want dad to tell me that you waste your time at work because of me' she said shrugging

'well I do as much as I can, but you keep coming to my mind all the time and make my job harder' he whispered and winked

'gosh, why didn't my parents travel few weeks earlier?' Kajol yelled jokingly throwing her hands in the air then she kissed Shahrukh over his cheek 'come on let's move' she said, he laughed and started the engine

'I am happy that you agreed to Italian food' Kajol said when she sat down when they were at the restaurant

'when did I say no to Italian food?'

'just checking'

'what do you want to check too?'

'a lot of things. I will take every chance gifted to me this week and try to know you more before things...' she rolled her eyes and continued '... go back to normal and it won't be easy for each other to pass time together'

'okay detective' he said then sighed when Kajol took out her phone from her bag 'what are you doing now?'

'I am searching for the game I downloaded. It is so much fun; we will be playing it now'

'this lunch is sponsored by the play store' Shahrukh announced sarcastically

'ah... found it' she looked at him 'It has questions, that's the point' she said

'okay... ask'

'cookies or cake?'

'cookies, you?'

'cookies too' she gave him a thumbs up 'something in common... good. Cat or dog?'

'dog. You?'

'none' she scoffed

'what? Don't you want a dog after marriage?'

'it will be so much mess. Rejected suggestion, Waffles or Pancakes?'

'you tested the answer this morning... I go for waffles of course. I have a better idea'

'what?'

'let's see how much you know about me' he said stretching his hand and gesturing to her to give him the phone and she did so 'what do I like? Hot chocolate or coffee?'

'both, but you love coffee more'

'great, morning or evening?'

'you are a bat man. Evening of course'

He laughed 'okay, text message or call?'

'none, you like meeting people'

'wrong. I like meeting you and that's an exception' he furrowed 'I am an introvert for god's sake'
