Old friend

2 weeks later

I was going on a run around the neighborhood
I needed to build up my endurance because I get really tired by the end of my routines.

I should really head back now. My water bottle is almost finished

"Eunbin! Oh my god!"
I heard someone call out to me

It was an old friend from school

"Jinkyu?! is that you"
I said

"Yes! Wow I haven't seen you in a long time"
He said as he talked up to me

"So how have you been? I haven't heard from you since Middle School!"
I said

"I've been good! I actually loved to The United States after middle school. I'm only here to visit family for the summer."
He said

"Oh that's so cool! I'll be going to the States next year so you have to tell me more about it one day!"

"Sure will! Are you going for vacation?"
He asked

"Oh... I guess you haven't heard. So do you remember how I was obsessed with figure skating?"
I said

"Yeah!"

"Well I'm one of the top junior skaters now. I was asked by an Olympic coach to train with him in the states next year!"

"Wow! No way! I can't believe you've made it this far and I didn't know about it?!"
He said

I laughed. It felt nice seeing an old friend again

"We should definitely talk again like the older days! Could I get your number?"
I asked

"Yeah of course!"

We exchanged phone numbers and headed off. He needed to go somewhere anyways.

That was so cool! I saw an old friend! I bet he was surprised when I told him that I was a popular skater..

A little kid ran up to me

"Could you sign this?"
She said smiling

It felt weird having people asking for my signature but it was a happy feeling too

"Of course!"
I said as I signed her skate

"I want to become an ice skater too!"
The girl said

"Well I think you will be a great one! Make sure to always keep practicing and work hard"
I said

The little girl smiled , thanked me and we said our goodbyes.

I then make it to my house

"Oh yeah she should be here in a minute"
I hear my dad say from the kitchen

"I'm back"
I called

I walked into the kitchen to see Sunghoon in an apron helping my mom cook

"Sunghoon?"
I said

"Ah you're here. Your mom invited me over"

"My mom? MOM SINCE WHEN DID YOU HAVE HIS NUMBER?"
I Shouted

"Since the last time he came over. We missed him a lot"
My mom said

I sighed

"So you told him to come over... and you make him cook?!"
I told my mom

"Ah its fine, I offered to help"
Sunghoon said

I rolled my eyes and went to go shower

I quickly came out of the shower and saw Sunghoon watching the tv

I sat next to him

"Did you actually come over because my mom asked you to?"

"Pfft. Of course I did. Did you really think I would come over for you?"
He Joked around

"HEY!"

Sunghoon went back to helping my mom.

I got a text from Jinkyu

"Hey I leave next week, we should totally meet up soon again"
He texted

"Oh yeah! We definitely should! Is it ok if I bring my boyfriend? I don't think he would let me go with you alone. If that's ok with you"
I said

"Oh. well yeah then that's ok! Just tell me where we should meet up! You choose!"

"Let's go meet up at the Karaoke spot we used to go to in middle school "
I said

"Sounds great! Let's meet on Saturday!"

"Alright see you soon!"

I put my phone down and went to the kitchen to see what I could help with

Dinner was ready already.

Sunghoon seriously worked hard since he wants to impress my parents. I don't know why though, they already love him more than me.

"Thank you so much for helping us Sunghoon"
My dad says

"Oh no my pleasure! It was fun."
He said

My parents started asking him questions.
I hear a knock at the door

I look who was at the door

I yelled

"CHA DAHEE!!"
I shouted

"HEY BESTIE! I'm Back!!"
She shouted

She noticed Sunghoon was in the kitchen

"Oh my god am I interrupting something"
She said

"No no... APPARENTLY SUNGHOON CAME FOR MY PARENTS NOT ME"
I shouted sarcastically

I told her to come inside

"Ah Dahee! You're here! This is Eunbin's boyfriend!"
My mom said

"Yeah I know , she talks about him all the time"
She says

She says hi to Sunghoon

"I was going to take you out. But I guess since Sunghoon is here..."
Dahee said

"No! He came to see my parents either way"
I joked

"Let's invite Sunghoon with us."
She said

Sunghoon laughed then looked at my parents.
My mom waved her hand signaling to go with us.

"Yeah Sunghoon come with us... before my parents start to lecture you or something "
I said

"Alright."
He laughed

We all headed out to go to the lake

"I haven't been here in so long"
I said
"Eunbin I took you here like 2 weeks ago"
Sunghoon says

"No I mean... with Dahee. I haven't seen her in months. The last time I saw her, was when we had our first date"
I said

"Yeah She had to use my clothes because she had no pretty clothes"
Dahee says

Sunghoon laughed

"I actually don't mind what you wear"
He said

Dahee smiled

"OK OK. Let's not make Dahee a 3rd Wheel..."
I said

"No im here for it. Ive never seen you this interested in dating."

We all laughed.
