Athy's POV
"Princess.." Felix called out, looking weird.
"What's wrong?" I asked, shifting away from the book I was reading.
"Princess Jeannette is back."
"Uhm, okay. I shall greet her. " I stood up from my seat.
"No but-..." Felix tried to stop me.
"Hm?" I was confused.
"His majesty is with the princess.."
"Well isn't that wonderful?" I tried to walk again, but Felix once again stopped me.
"He.. He's scolding the princess.."
"He's.. What?!" I freaked out.
"Get out of my way, Felix..!" I slapped his hand away as I ran.
"P-princess!"

I was panting when I got to the scene.
"P-papa..!" I called out.
There was a lot of people, and as I called out everyone seemed to have been frozen.
"What's happening here?" I asked, getting in between Dad and Jeannette.
"How dare the second princess join in!" One of the old men commented out loud, to satisfy Claude.
"Why are you here? I am part of the family, I don't think you are, though." I glared at the man in which he flinched.
"Athanasia..." Claude looked troubled.
"Papa, what happened.?" I worriedly turned to him.
"P-papa.. You say..?" Jeannette muttered, despair in her eyes.
"Yes. She is my daughter after all." Claude glared at the brunette, making everyone flinch but Athanasia.
"P-papa, what are you sayi-" Jeannette tried to push me away to Claude so that he could hug him instead, but Claude hugged me tighter.
AAAAAH!!!
"You'd better shut your mouth before I personally stitch it shut."
"D-dad!!" I flinched, and so did Jeannette.
I could tell the other men were just realizing that Jeannette no longer had the favor of Claude, but me.
"Dad, what's all these ruckus about?!" I yelled at him.
"...That wench dared to come back and call me as if she forgot about our whole conversation. " Claude replied, glaring daggers at Jeannette.
"C-conversation? What was it about?" I asked, concerned.
"That she wasn't my real d-"
"Aaahhh!!" Jeannette screamed.
We all looked at her in surprise.
"J-Jeannette..?" I asked.
"I-I'm not feeling well!! A-and so is papa!" She ran away.
"Uh..?" I was bewildered.
"Hey, could you guys leave us?" I turned towards the men.
"Y-yes, Blessing upon the Obelian empire.." The men bowed, and left.
"Papa, what the heck happened?"
"That wretched creature tried to hug me, and had the audacity to call me her father as if nothing happened."
