It was a dark and stormy night. Thunder had been rumbling in the silence for hours, followed by the smooth breeze which was constantly whistling like an invisible ghost. Dark, ominous clouds were gathered above, indicating an impending storm. The leaves were rustling loudly, making the eerie surrounding more frightening. The lightning lit the sky in a bright blue flame, setting the clouds ablaze. It joined itself with the thunder, adding the grief and anger of the sky. Soon strong wind accompanied the rain as it falls mercilessly, loudly thumping as it hit the ground.

I sighed as I looked outside. I need to get out of the house to pick up my little sister from the nursery. I took my raincoat and made my way towards the door, slightly flinching by the palpable sound of lightning and thunder. Outside everything was dark. There were no signs of life and the only thing visible was the lights outside which flickered, making my heart to go in more rough rhythm. My hairs licked and lapped in the strong breeze like a crackling fire as I made my way through the heavy rain, like water filtering through cracks in the sidewalk.

The park which was once tranquil and which radiated happiness, was now empty and looking eerier. The screech of an owl pierced the silence in the park as I tried not to slip from the wet grass. Suddenly my eyes focused on a creature which was looking directly at me even though in the dark I can't look at is eyes. He was wearing an oversized coat and strangely the only thing I can make out of the creature was his teeth which were visible even in the dark. He was smiling broadly at me showing all of his teeth and moved up his bony hands t wave at me. My heartfelt like it will run out of the ribcage as I looked at the creature. I slowly moved toward him, taking a deep breath to calm myself down. As I neared the stranger, he noticed me and in a second was out of the park leaving behind his footprint which was unnaturally very large and gigantic.

When I returned home that night and switched on the tv, I found out that a first human-monkey hybrid which was made had rescued from the lab and was roaming around the town, looking for any sign of his species. I took a breath as I listened to the news but was disturbed by a sudden noise from the window.
