We headed into my bedroom. As he reached my door my dad yelled at me saying "leave the door open" I laughed. If only he knew this wasn't the first time Elijah was in my room. I made myself comfortable on my bed. Worried thoughts crossed my mind but they faded away as soon as Elijah scooped me up into his arms. I moved sitting on his lap. My arms draped over his shoulders. Our eyes connected. His fingers ran over my neck.
I knew what he was going to say. I sighed kissing him to distract him but that didn't work.
"I know what you're trying to do." He said pulling away from my kiss.
"Then don't bring it up." I mumbled.
"It's to keep you safe." Elijah said. "Only werewolves will be able to see the mark."
I frowned. "I don't care if anyone can see it. I just feel- I feel like having your mark me means we're moving too fast or something like that."
"Usually when a werewolf sees his mate he marks her right on spot." Elijah arched his brow.
  "You're telling me..."
"Yes, when we first met I thought about biting you." Elijah smirked. "But I decided not to."
I blinked a few times trying to believe the words that come out of his mouth.
"I know you want a normal relationship." He sighed. "I wish I could give you that."
"I don't want a normal relationship." I smiled. "Normal relationships these days are boring."
Elijah scrunched his eyebrows together giving me a confused look.
"I wanna go hiking for a date not just coming over your house sitting there doing nothing. I wanna make love not fuck. I wanna stay out late and watch the stars twinkle in the night sky. I want-"
I was cut off by his soft lips pressing against mine.
"Enough said." He smiled.
The way his eyes shined while he was smiling. It made my heart flutter.
"How about this." He said. "After five successful dates. I mark you."
I thought about it. It was a good deal.
"Deal." I smiled.
"I'll plan our date for tomorrow night." He stood up.
I squealed holding on tight to him as he did so.
"Don't worry baby, I won't drop you." He whispered in my ear.
"You can put me down now." I mumbled.
He smiled letting me go. I stood a bit away from him. His warmth slowly faded away. I wrapped my arms around him holding him tight.
"Do you have an idea for where we are going tomorrow?" I asked looking up at him.
  "Mm, not really." He chuckled.
Gosh, that was hot. Come to think of it. Everything he does is lowkey hot. I wonder what our kids will look like. Hopefully, like him.
Realizing my thoughts my face started to heat up and turn red.
"What are you thinking about?" He arched his brow.
  "N-nothing." I stuttered.
  He smiled chuckling.
"You should get going." I said. "See you tomorrow."
"I'll call you when I get home." He kissed my forehead.
I followed him out to his car. He gave me one last kiss before driving off.
