you put your phone down on the bedside dresser, readjusting your heating pad that's currently pressed against your lower torso. shark week is definitely the worst ever, especially with stupid ass cramps.

about fifteen minutes after you text your mom to listen for a knock, tanaka bursts into your room.

he holds up a bag of stuff in his left hand, a to-go plate in his other. "i brought you stuff and made you (favorite food)!"

you sit up on your bed, completely forgetting about your cramps. "ryu, no way-" you're cut off by a light wince. tanaka's usual rowdy personality dials down, quickly popping up at the side of your bed and setting the stuff down.

"do you need this heated up again, angel?" he lightly pokes at the heating pad. you simply nod, slowly lifting it from your skin to reveal a light red mark, created from the heat. tanaka takes said item and heads downstairs. you look through the bag of stuff, containing the main items needed on your menstrual cycle as well as your favorite snacks. you begin eating (favorite food) as tanaka returns to your room.

"okay, here's.. this." he carefully positions the heating pad back on your lower torso before getting onto your bed, sitting next to you with his back against the headboard.

"do you need anything else?" tanaka questions while sliding your laptop off of the other bedside table, placing it on his lap. you simply shake your head as he types in your password: tanakasproperty.

"thanks again for coming, baby.." you say while putting your head on his shoulder while he scrolls through netflix. he slips an arm around your shoulders and kisses your nose.

"it's nothing~" tanaka furiously blushes. "anything to spend time with my love."

you slightly turn your head to kiss tanaka's cheek, making him even more flushed than before. he puts on (favorite movie), placing the laptop in between the two of you.

"do you think i could sleep over today?" tanaka questions after a few movies, looking out your window as the moonlight slightly shines in. you look at the time on your laptop, 10:00pm. (22:00)

"there's school tomorrow, though."

"good thing we go to the same school..?" tanaka pokes your cheek, giving you puppy dog eyes. you softly sigh.

"i don't know if i'll even go to school tomorrow, especially with these cramps- i just wanna punch them out." you say with a short giggle.

tanaka tries his hardest to keep in his laugh. "well, if you don't go, i'll stay here with you!"

you shake your head. "uh uh, you have practice tomorrow."

"i'm sure they'll be alright if i miss a day! i don't want to leave you alone, at home allllll day. that's boring."

"well, you'll have to ask my mom, not me."

tanaka doesn't hesitate to get up from your bed, leaving your room and zooming down the stairs.

he ends up sleeping over, skipping school with you the next day. you couldn't ask for a better boyfriend.
