The physics has been proofread by my cousin, Misha (M_Amarasinghe), who is a physicist from the University of Illinois. She's working on the grand scheme of switching humanity to 100% renewable energy as soon as possible!
I'd like to thank my bestie, Aru-chan, who is a language whiz with over five languages in her arsenal. She verified the Japanese words I have devised for the house names! A big thank-you goes to more of my friends and family, who have bothered to read the very first draft when it was first up on the site.
I also want to thank the teachers and my university lecturers who have given feedback on my writing and storytelling skills, though this was mostly for animation projects. And my former co-worker, Nelson! Nelly-kun gifted me the amazingly insightful book The Science of Storytelling by Will Storr, which I read in its entirety.
It means so much to me that my oddball book has received so much love from the community—super supportive Ambassadors who have used their volunteer time to come read and feature it on a dozen reading lists, the wonderful sci-fi team at Ooorah who made me feel at home (despite me being a nooby sci-fi author), awesome reviewers and judges who wrote pages of feedback and recommended the book, the award hosts and communities who have been so supportive.
Last but not least, a huge thank-you goes to the most chill bunch of readers one could ever wish for! Thank you so much for reading to the end! I grin wider than Mari-chan when I read your awesome comments! Thank you!
