Her heart stopped its beat.

And all the people who knew her stopped our heartbeats too.

Nagkulong si Desire ng ilang araw sa kanyang kwarto. We always hear her sobs. She would cry the whole day at sa huli ay matutulog.

That's the reason why she run away and left Ice.. she said that was Ice wanted.. for her to run away.. for her to be safe.

Ice is strong. Mariin ko yang sinasabi sa aking isip at ayaw kong paniwalaan na wala na siya.

Pinaliwanag sa amin ni Desire na ibinigay ni Ice ang kwintas niyang suot upang protektahan siya.. na kapag nasa piligro ay kailangan niya iyong pindutin at iilaw ang kwintas ni Ice. In that way, nalalaman ni Ice na kailangan ni Desire ng tulong. Maybe, that's the reason why Ice found Desire there.

Desire also told us.. na may sensor nga ang kwintas na iyon. That when Desire's heart stop its beat, magb-blink ang ilaw ng kwintas ni Ice.. at kung si Ice naman.. ganoon rin ang kay Desire. That's the reason why she told us that Ice is dead.

But no.

I won't believe that.

Naalala ko ang maraming dugo sa crime scene..

Naalala ko ang cloak ni Ice na halos maging kulay pula na dahil sa dugo..

But I remember too her foot steps on the floor.. Isang patunay na nagawa ni Ice na maglakad. She even killed an opponent. Sinong mag-aakala.. that a man that big can be terminated by a wounded girl? She's that strong.. kaya hindi ako naniniwala na wala na siya.

Paano pala kung tinanggal ni Ice ang kwintas niya? Then hindi mas-sense ang heartbeat niya kaya siguro umilaw ng ganon ang kwintas ni Desire.

Iyon ang itinatatak ko sa aking isipan.

Sinundan namin ng gabing iyon ang kanyang footsteps and we found ourselves on a veranda.. may foot step rin ni Ice ang naroon sa taas ng harang.. isang patunay na tumalon siya rito at nagpatangay sa talon.

Para siyang yelo na natunaw.. naging tubig.. natuyo.. at walang bakas niya na natira.

She disappear that way.

A week passed..

Still, walang bakas niya.
