picnic date | tendou satori

"satori, are you sure the park is open..? it's very empty." you question as you and tendou walk through the park, cherry blossom petals slowly falling around the both of you while you straddle a fluffy blanket in your arm.

"of course it is, babe~ spring has sprung and the birds are chirping!" tendou replies, lightly swinging the picnic basket in his left hand while his right is interlocked with yours.

you walk a bit before finding your infamous secluded area, vines cascading the around entrance. tendou goes in first, pulling you in after.

after setting the blanket down, the two of you sit down, cross legged. tendou happily places the basket down in the middle as you admire the nature around.

"satori.. thank you." you softly say, a blush spread across your cheeks. and to think you'd get used to these dates with tendou? they get better everytime. tendou takes your hand and his, bringing it up to his lips and softly kissing the back of it.

"anything to make you happy." he lets your hand back down on the blanket while beginning to take stuff out of the picnic basket.

"satori, how much did you spend on all of this?" you question as he finishes, all of your favorites spread out on the blanket. tendou simply chuckles.

"don't worry about it! i've been planning this for a while~" he quickly pops a cherry into his mouth, the corners of his lips perfectly curving each time he chews. you pick up a strawberry, drenched in hardened chocolate.

"so, how's everything with volleyball going?" you question after sitting with tendou for a few minutes in a comfortable silence.

"it's great! we're going up against karasuno soon~ you've heard enough about me, though. how's my paradise doing?"

you intensely blush at tendou's words. "since we started dating, better than ever."

tendou can't help but contain his blush now, turning as red as the cherries. "l-let's change the subject, you know exactly how to embarrass me!" he picks up a box of pocky, opening the package.

"the pocky game?" you question. tendou nods, putting the chocolate coated biscuit between the top and bottom rows of his teeth, leaning closer to you. you play along, holding onto the other side with your teeth as well.

tendou purposely chuckles while making intense eye contact with you, making the pocky fall in between the two of you.

"satori~" you pout.

"oh well, more of a chance to do this!" tendou caresses your cheeks before passionately kissing you and gently pushing you back onto the blanket so he's on top of you.

he covers your face in kisses, saying "i love you" in between all of them. you attempt to push him off while having a giggle fit at the touch of his soft lips.

"satori, what are y-"

tendou finally reaches your lips, refraining you from talking. you basically melt from his touch.

"we should do this more often." tendou pulls away, admiring your facial features as you wrap your arms around his neck.

"you're right, but we're not done here~" you lift your head to reach tendou's lips, slipping your tongue into his mouth to assert dominance. after a few seconds, he pulls away in shock.

"woah, that was.. hot. have i told you how sweet you taste?" tendou lays down on your chest, inhaling your scent. you run your fingers through his hair.

"mhm~ have i told you how amazing you are, satori?"

"mm, i don't think so.." tendou says, quietly snickering.

"well, you're amazing, satori. i couldn't ask for anyone better than you, baby."

he lifts his head from your chest to look at you with a huge grin.

"how did i get so lucky with you?" he lays back down on your chest.

"i could ask you the same~"

you and tendou eventually finish your picnic, him driving you home after your successful date.
