"catra?! what are you doing?!" she whispers

"saving you!" I whisper back

"uh we were talking to adora, could you please move-"

"no, I won't" I reply back

"she has somewhere to be, so I will be taking her thank you very much" I grab adoras hand and walk off, I was a bit flustered.

I heard whispering from the girls behind me about what type of relationship we had.

"thanks catra..."

"uh huh" was all I managed to say

we were still walking hand in hand, until I pulled away. I didn't look back at adora who was quietly walking behind me.

"so.. what do you think of the trip?" she asks

"eh, I don't know. It's a bit sudden"

"yeah... sounds fun though"

dammit, it's obvious we want to talk about us and what happened but both of us don't wanna bring it up!

I just walk forward hoping that this was all some weird fever dream and that adora and I are fine.

we silently walked to our dorm where scorpia and glimmer were waiting.

"yay catra! you saved her" says glimmer hugging me

"hey stop!" I try to resist

"mmh.. thanks" adora says blushing while rubbing her arm, she looks innocent at this moment.

scorpia looks at adora almost glaring at her, what's up with her?

we enter the dorm and mermista perfuma and bow also come over a little after we settle down.

"we need to know where we should go" scorpia asks

"I say overseas!" glimmer says

"I agree, that would be totally cool" mermista says after

adora looks nervous from the corner of my eye as she was sitting next to me, she smelt good though.

"what does everyone think?"

overseas? I felt a roadtrip would suit adora better but maybe if it's overseas with adora....

I shake my head clearing my thoughts.

"yeah! overseas" I say confidently hoping adora feels reassured.

"I guess that's fine" she says

"okay! I'm so excited, now we decided where we go"

"I wanna go pacific islands!" says mermista

"nah, europe!" scorpia yells

"Antarctica please!" glimmer yells afterwards

"guys settle down" bow says

I gently put my hand up.

"uh how about japan? asia perhaps? I was going to go there anyways" I say quietly

I actually needed to go there for a job and somewhat of a getaway.

"I agree!" adora says enthusiastically

adora?... she agrees?..

"oooo asia, we hadn't thought about that, that could be fun" says scorpia nodding in agreement

"I guess it's settled! Woo" says bow putting a fist up in the air

we spent about 3 hours planning the trip after that, accomodation, entertainment etc. I had felt so exhausted towards the end of it.

Everyone took their leave and adora and I were left alone.

"well glad that's over" I say yawning

"yeah... I'm so tired, what made you say japan though?" she asks staring at me curiously waiting for a response

"uh... I was just wanting to go there anyways, not really any particular reason" I respond while scratching the back of my head

"what made you agree though?" I ask wanting to change the subject

"because it seems like a really new experience for me, I'm... excited" she says smiling

I stay silent just simply nodding my head, I was about to walk past when she opened her mouth to say something.

"catra wait!" she says grabbing my hand and looking down, I couldn't even see the expression she was making.

I had an odd feeling in my stomach, I was feeling really anxious. she clenched her fist before speaking again.

"whatever happened with us, whether it was a dream or not, it probably wasn't but whatever happened that night with us... just like our first kiss.. I don't want it to get in the way of our trip"

she gripped my hand tighter, my body felt hot. this girl is genuinely concerned about us?

"of course! it's not like we like each other anyways adora"

her head perks up, an unreadable expession.

"yeah.. it was because we were just you know, it's normal right?" she says laughing a bit

I smile at her reassuringly, I also didn't want us to be awkward on the trip.

"hahah! make sure you don't fall for me princess, I'm sure you enjoyed yourself though"

"did you forget who was on top?"

"whatever!"

we laugh together, it felt good.

after a few seconds of silence she finally spoke again,

"catra? I have one more thing I want to say"
