Friday Night on the jimmy Fallon show Selena Gomez had finally spoken up about why her relationship with Zayn had to end on such short notice. According to the singer, the split was a mutual agreement between her and zayn but along the line she admits that she did have some insecurities surrounding the news of Zayn's baby with Gigi hadid and that she didn't think her being with Zayn at that time was the right thing. She mentioned that she didn't want to take away the time and effort that Zayn was meant to spend with his baby and the mother of his child and that it didn't just feel right.

Following that when the singer was asked if she was still seeing or staying in contact with Zayn she answered saying that they don't see each other because Zayn had completely moved on and apparently so had she.
