Water formed at the corner of their eyes, which glistened in the blazing fire. She jerked her arm back to wipe away the tears.
"She must be stopped Percy! I have no choice! Gaea needs a sacrifice to end this!" She glared at him, "Do you want anymore people to die? Because of her, our home is risk! Our family will perish! DO YOU WANT THAT?!"
He stared at her, "I don't want to, but this isn't how it will end."
She shook her head," I'm sorry but it must."
"Then let me go with you." He said
" Percy no I can't let you die." She said tears rolling down her face.
"Well it's better then living without you."
"Fine. As long as we are together." She said smiling.
"As long as we're together." He smiled, grabbing her hand and jumping in the pit. The war was over, Gaea got her sacrifices.
