Remember when that was a thing? HOLY CRAP THANKSSSSSS ^^^

Kurt felt like he'd done something wrong. Like he'd cheated on a test that determined who he was as a person. And still failed...

Rachel had asked multiple times what was wrong. Even after he told her, no matter how many times she said there was nothing wrong with what he had done, he couldn't forgive himself.

He felt like he betrayed Blaine even though they weren't together. He remembered her grabbing his hand and telling him everything would be fine.

The worst part was that he wanted to call Blaine. It wasn't like he could explain, so when the doorbell rang a week after, he just knew he shouldn't answer.

"Kurt? It's Blaine!"

Shit

They were still friends. Which mean they still talked. Which meant they still saw each other. Blaine, who knew Kurt better than anyone else, could immediately sense something was wrong when he joined the Rachel, Kurt, and Santana at their house in New York.

Kurt kept fidgeting, and looking away from him. Like a fifth grader that had a secret. Everyone else was watching TV while Blaine stayed back with Kurt who was prepared snacks.

"What's wrong?"

The taller boy kept trying to make it seem less obvious. He kept trying to pretend nothing was wrong. Still, no answer was an answer in itself.

"Kurt?"

The way Blaine spoke made Kurt feel even worse. The concern, and the way you could tell he wasn't going to leave until he was sure Kurt was okay. Of course, he couldn't really lie anymore.

He dropped the bowl he was holding, which thankfully didn't spill everywhere. He closed his eyes, bracing for impact.

"I-I'm sorry... I-I kinda like... half slept with Santa..."

Kurt hesitated before looking up.

"Wait, I don't understand."

The worry was gone. His tone almost sounded humorous.

"Um... Santa that had a plastic chest and-"

"Hold on, you did it with Santa Claus?" Blaine laughed. "D-Did you like it?"

"Did I like it?! No! He wanted me to be a reindeer and- wait, you aren't upset?"

"Why would I be upset?"

Kurt watched him for a moment, shocked, and then looked away. Maybe Blaine had moved on.

"Kurt, it's fine. We aren't even... I mean we aren't... toge-"

Kurt cut him off with a peck on the lips. Blaine almost instantly freaked out, but once he'd noticed he hadn't dreamed the whole thing, he went right back in to continue.

A few moments later, Kurt backed out, smiling softly. That happened faster than expected.

"So... is this what I think it is?"

"I'm not entirely sure but I really want to say yes."

"Then yes..."

"Yes..." Kurt was grinning. "Thank God."

Blaine laughed at that, and they both went to see the rest of the movie with their friends.

I really don't know if this is what you wanted/expected but I hope you like it! Also sorry if I haven't been posting much. I'll get back to my regular publishing pace after New Years Day.

Oh yeah, and MERRY CHRISTMAS or HAPPY HANUKKAH or ANYTHING ELSE YOU PEOPLE CELEBRATE! (Lemme know)
