Quarentine-age Dream

So I was gonna write a summary here like usual but honestly I think it'd be easier if I jus put a pic 👌🤷‍♀️

"Dad!" Oliver called.

Blaine was there in his bedroom in seconds.

"Yes, Oli?"

"Can I go see Nick? His family is having a party!"

"Um... well we're sort of in the middle of a pandemic... We can't really go anywhere. Sorry, buddy." Blaine apologized.

He didn't like the way his son's smile faded. His eyes wandered over to the instrument Oliver had asked for.

"But we..." Blaine smiled, getting an idea. "...can still have fun! What's the first word that comes to mind when you think Quarantine?"

"Boring..." Oliver replied without thinking.

"Can you think of a word that rhymes with boring?" Blaine laughed, grabbing the guitar.

"Exploring, ignoring, roaring, soaring..." Kurt chimed in, entering the room. "What are you guys up to?"

"Dads writing a song about Quarantine!" Oliver smiled. "Come help!"

"What should we call it?"

"Quarantine-age Dream!" Blaine smiled. "Quarantine is clearly the most boring, cuz I'd rather be out exploring." (Don't come at me lol. Idk how to write songs.)

It sounded an awful lot like Teenage Dream. Kurt smiled when Blaine worked the lyrics into a melody. Oliver clapped at their new song.

"Wait a minute..." Kurt turned away in mock hurt. "Wasn't that supposed to be our song?"

"What, Teenage Dream?" Blaine said and grinned.

"Yeah!" Kurt replied.

"Well, now it's me and Oli's song."

The gelled boy and their son share a fist bump. Blaine couldn't help but smirk at his own words. Both he and Oliver knew Kurt was about to say something else, so the youngest jumped in.

"How about its all of ours?" Oliver quickly said, jumping up on Blaine's knee. "That way no one has to fight."

Kurt pretended to think about it.

"Well-"

"Please?" Oliver giggled.

"Okay, okay!"

Blaine motioned for Kurt to come sit next to them. When he did, Oliver pulled them both into a hug. This caught them somewhat off guard but they smiled anyway.

So this was a lil (lot)short but I think it was okay... my opinion doesn't matter tho what do y'all think?
