(Chapter 24)

"So how many of you guys have girlfriends?"

The room got quiet as the girls and the host waited anxiously to see which boy was taken...

This show was live; and even though it was being taped in London, I made sure I got up extra early to watch my boyfriend and best friends on t.v.

Harry and I have been together for almost three months now, and people have been suspicious of us.

But our relationship had not yet been confirmed, so no one really knew what to think.

I know Harry is only trying to protect me from all the hate, but honestly, I don't care how much threats I'll get.

I want people to know were together.

I want the whole world to know.

But I want Harry to do what he thinks is best.

And if keeping 'us' quiet for awhile is what Harry wants, then so be it.

Louis, Zayn, and Liam's hands shot up fast while Niall and Harry kept their arms to themselves.

"So three of you are taken. And what about the other two? You guys haven't found your special someone yet?', the host said as the cameras zoomed in on Harry and Niall's faces.

"Nope. Not at the moment. No.", my best friend said in his charming Irish accent.

Everyone then turned all their attention to Harry; who looked as if he didn't know what to say.

I stared at my boyfriends face on the screen while my heartbeat started to pace.

He didn't say anything, but he had a smile on his face, probably because all the boys were making faces at him.

"So Harry...?? All your fans would really like to know if you're single or not. And I know they're all very anxious to know about the rumor of you dating a certain American fan, who goes by the name 'Shailene Hartley'. Does that name sound familiar? Hmmmm??'

I didn't like how this guy was pressuring him, and I could tell Harry was a little uncomfortable.

"Ermmmm... Yes. It does."

"There have been a lot of pictures of the two of you recently, and fans have made this very clear to us over the last few months; Are you guys just friends or are you dating?"

"Yes.", is all Harry said as he smiled some more.

"Well which is it?", the host said, trying not to get frustrated.

Harry looked at the other four boys and gave them a wink.

My heart continued to get faster as I slowly saw him put his hand up.

"I do have a girlfriend. And yes. It is Shailene. She is the only one for me and I am glad to be known as her boyfriend."

I couldn't help but say a little 'awww' to myself as I kept my eyes glued to the television.

And I wasn't sure if all the girls were screaming because what Harry said was absolutely adorable, or because they just found out that there was only one left who was still single.

"Well there you have it ladies. Harry Styles has just confirmed that he's taken! And you have heard it first here on 'What's What'.

I was grinning from ear to ear and I couldn't help but think that when I imagined Harry saying he's with somebody; never in a million bajillion years did I imagine 'I' would be that someone.

And I was just so happy that now, people know that 4/5th's of One Direction have girlfriends, and I was lucky enough to be known as one of those girls...
