"This is mad." Harry exclaimed "Who'd want to be taught by me? I'm a nutter remember?"
Hermione gathered a bunch of students who hate Umbridge in some bar in Hogsmede today. She wants Harry to teach them defensive magic since hes had to use so much.
I don't think its a terrible idea, just not her best.
"Look on the bright side. You can't be any worse than old toad face." I joked.
"Whos supposed to be meeting us then?" Ron asked.
"Just a couple of people." Hermione responded as she pushed open the creaky door to the bar.
We walked to the back where a large group of our classmates were standing. I saw Luna, Zach, Dean, the Patil twins, Ginny, Neville, the Weasly twins, Cho, Nigel, Bem, even Seamus had come.
Not a single slytherin was in the mix. I frowned at that. There were some good slytherins like Theo, Blaise, and Daphne. But of course no one would join if they did.
Stupid house prejudice.
"Um....hi." Hermione started nervously. "So...you all know why we're here. We need a teacher. A proper teacher. One who's had real experience defending themselves against the dark arts."
"Why?" Zach asked.
"Why? Because you-know-who's back." Ron snapped.
"So he says." Seamus muttered.
"So Dumbledore says." I said.
"So Dumbleore says because he says. The point is where's the proof?"
"I-if Potter could tell us more about how Cedric died." A Ravenclaw reasoned.
"I'm not going to talk about Cedric, so if thats why you're here, you might as well clear out now." Harry said to him with a sharpness in his voice.
No one stood up to leave.
"Is it true you can produce a Patronous charm?" Luna asked.
"Yes. I've seen it." Hermione answered.
"Blimey, harry, I didn't know you could do that." Dean said in amazement.
"And he killed a Basilisk with the sword in Dumbledore's office." Neville spoke up.
"Its true." Ginny exclaimed.
"Third year, he fought off about 100 dementors at once." Ron added.
"And last year, he really did fight off you-know-who in the flesh." I said.
