THE RIGHT ONE

Eddy stares at the window with his hands shaking. Some droplets tearing from his head, waiting for dinner time to come. He never felt so excited and anxious at the same time like this. Come on, just for a dinner feast? But, the fact that he knows everyone's going to appear makes him can't stay calm.

Mrs. Chen looks at his son while she's preparing the food. She smiles and walk towards him after she puts a big plate of dumplings.

"They're gonna be here soon, huh?" Mrs. Chen ask.

Eddy glance to her and smile back. "Y-Yeah. I can't wait."

Mrs. Chen laughs. "Why are you so nervous about? It'a not like you're meeting a world class violinist. However, You're a world class yourself."

"I don't know, Mom," Eddy stand and face her. "It's just that I never invite a lot of people here."

Mrs. Chen poke his son's shoulder. "You'll get used to it! You have a lot of good friends, you know."

Eddy smiles. "I know they are."

They both look at each other with a warm silence between them. It has been a long journey until they can feel the real mother and child situation. After all these years, Eddy finally know how it is to have a great mother.

TOK TOK TOK.

"We're here!"

Eddy and his Mom glance to the door. His Mom immediately let him open it. "Why don't you be the one who welcome them? I'll be waiting on the table."

Eddy runs into the door and quickly see a bunch of people smiling at him outside. His shaking hand waves to them.

"H-Hey, guys."

There's Toni with a white dress, holding Chisa in her hands which wears a matching dress with her sister. They both look stunning.

And there's Brett with his shirt and blue flannel as the outer, holding Y/N's hand. She looks pretty with her simple white shirt and jeans.

"Why is your voice sounds like a shaky bow?" Brett laughs. "You've been waiting for this, huh?"

Eddy give him a glare instantly for that comment. But, his expression change when Chisa shouts to him.

"Chisa can't wait to play with Eddy nii chan again!" Chisa exclaimed happiness.

Eddy smiles and pats her head. "We'll play today, okay, Chisa?"

"Yaaaay!"

"Come on, let's go. My Mom's waiting." Eddy lets the four of them enters his house, immediately go to the table to see Mrs. Chen and starts the dinner.

"Nice to see you again, Mrs. Chen!" Y/N and Brett greet Eddy's Mom so happily.

"Hello, Brett, Y/N, it's been a while," siad Mrs. Chen. She glance to Toni and Chisa. "You must be our neighbour. Hello there, Toni, Chisa."

"Hello." Toni answers with a red cheeks. She smiles to her while Chisa, again, seems excited.

"Hello, Auntie!"

"Aren't you the cute one!" Mrs. Chen pinch Chisa's cheeks softly and pats her head. "Have you played with Eddy a lot?"

"Eddy nii-chan is so nice! We played a lot, Auntie!" Chisa nods constantly.

"I heard you play music as well, Toni?" Mrs. Chen asks.

"Yes, I play the flute. Your son is an amazing violinist, Mrs. Chen." Toni smiles.
