Jimin sighs as he rolls his head around in the hot spring, his neck cracking a bit as he did so. The hot water really did quite well in helping him relieve his stress that he had accumulated over the past few days.

Jimin was secluded in a corner, away from the others because he still felt a bit shy with his body. Being naked and close to another person who wasn't Yoongi was weird, so Jimin didn't do it.

Taehyung however, didn't seem to have any qualms about walking around the pool naked, but Jimin credits that to Taehyung's revealing clothes. Most of the time, Jimin wears some sort of draping over the chest to cover himself when he felt like it.

He sank lower into the steaming water, sighing softly. If Jimin was being honest, even though the hot water was incredibly nice, it didn't do much to stop Jimin from thinking about Yoongi. Well, to be fair it was Yoongi's first time going out to battle, and Jimin be damned if he doesn't worry at all.

That makes Jimin wonder, is Yoongi also thinking about him right now? Or is he already occupied?

"Here." Yoongi looked up to see Jungkook above him, holding out a canteen of water. He accepted it gratefully and downed half of the bottle. Half a day of travelling did a lot to wear you down.

"Thanks Kook." Yoongi says after he's done, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand. Jungkook shrugged. "We're almost in vampire territory, so this is the last chance to rest before we get caught up in things."

Yoongi took one last swig of water before passing it back to Jungkook. "When do we leave?" He finally says, and Jungkook let out a hum. "In around three hours. Give the soldiers time to rest. We can't have half asleep soldiers going into battle."  He stands up and walks away, presumably to take care of whatever matter he has on his mind.

Yoongi stands up too, stretching his limbs as he lets a relieved sigh fall from his mouth.

Scratching his stomach, he makes his way towards the tent soldiers had set up for him. He stepped inside, and tied it back together, but not before he brings his boots back inside.

It wouldn't be a good idea for someone to steal it before they go to battle. That would be disastrous.

He pulled bear furs over himself, sighing when he feels his body starting to warm up. It makes him think of Jimin, especially the lazy mornings they spent together, just cuddling or sharing heated kisses. Those times were the best.

When Yoongi woke up again, it was to Hoseok shaking him awake. "Wake up Yoongz, Jungkook says it's time to go." Yoongi noticed the lack of a nickname, and noticed the way Hoseok's jaw was set, completely different to the bubbly Hoseok he knows that liked to make fun of him.

Although, the anticipation makes you like that. Yoongi was sure that he himself looked stony.

He follows Hoseok out of his tent, and a couple of footmen hurry to pack it up and put it into a wagon. Hoseok leads Yoongi to where Jungkook was in a tent, going over the map with a couple of other commanders of another battalion. They bow when Yoongi enters, before continuing their discussion.

"If we enter through the west side, we'll be in their blind spot, and if we're lucky, they won't notice us until we're on their doorsteps."

"We brought enough scent blockers?" Jungkook asked, and one of them nodded. "Yes, enough for everyone to apply three times if necessary." One applicable of scent blocker was enough to last up to a maximum of 4 hours. However, if in frequent contact with other surfaces, the scent blockers will come off a lot quicker.

He nods to the man and hands him the map and other pieces of paper. "Send them to the commander of the 3rd battalion and notify him that we will leave in half an hour." The man bowed and left quickly. Jungkook noticed Yoongi and Hoseok and nodded at them, his face betraying a bit of tiredness.

"We still have 30 minutes, you should rest Kook." Hoseok says softly, and Jungkook sighs. "But-," Hoseok shushed him and guided towards cushions and pushing him down. "No buts. You need rest, besides, I think me and Yoongi can handle things for now." Jungkook nods and rests his head against one of the cushions, and soon enough, he falls asleep.

Watching the way Jungkooks face evens out, the crease between his brows smoothing, and he no longer wears the frown he usually sports. He looks just like his age, a young man.

It's kind of frightening how different he could look. If Yoongi didn't know better, he'd say they were the same man.

They helped clean up Jungkooks things, and when it was time to go, (Yoongi and Hoseok made sure that they were only waiting for Jungkook in order to wake him up), they nudged Jungkook and lead him to his horse. Jungkook thanked them gratefully, already looking more refreshed than he had an hour ago.

They set off, Jungkook, Yoongi, Hoseok, and Chanyeol in the lead, with four battalion of soldiers binging up the rear.

They were ready to win this shit.
