Sukuna promptly covered his mouth and squeezed it until his nails cut through his skin and dripped some blood after he gazed at you within Yuji. He never imagined he would ever utter those words from the sudden thought of an ordinary girl.

Your eyes, your lips, your fragile body, your attitude, your mindset, everything of you made him madly interested, particularly your smile. Recalling the first encounter he had, you gave him that beautiful smile that he hasn't seen over a thousand years, despite the thorough knowledge that he is a devil, the king of the curses that slaughtered thousands of people, the young and the old, the rich and the poor.

He denies the feeling, craving for your touch, wanting to be with you, and wanting to know you more as he groaned from his unwanted thoughts, but pondering about it, experiencing new emotion isn't a bad idea to try out.

At that point, from his engrossed thought and rapt delight, he failed to notice the ambient surroundings when the boy where his soul lies is battling another curse for another mission under the rainy moonlight.

Sukuna rolled his eyes from his impatientness of the tiresome duel and how arrogant and conceited the curse Yuji is fighting. He was planning to use it and get rid of those shamans, but whenever he does, they would always try to kill him from the immense power he emits.

He became apathetic as he wanted to close his eyes, little given as they are killing each other, or to the commission of violence, but once a loud clank occurs, he heard your voice and saw you alongside Megumi, plastering a smirk in his mouth.

"My favorite humans working side by side."

He is indeed excited to see you, but the hostility he had towards Megumi or any male to be with you largen.

On the other hand, there you are, pushing yourself to beat another curse as it was a 'kill or be killed' situation, especially Yuji is handling the other curse alone. Thinking about it, you were quite anxious about the boy's condition as you peak a glance, but instead, you saw the corpse of the curse, brutally killed across the standing boy with familiar marks on his body.

Displayed the shock you felt at the view, you missed to notice the other curse to claim the opportunity of killing you. It showed in your front and smiled wickedly, but then you sensed an immense power to emanate that blew it up and unintentionally wreaks havoc in his surroundings and the ground.

Megumi became awestricken and troubled when Sukuna might be the next thing you'll be fighting, but as soon as he looked at you two, Sukuna made Megumi cover his ears and turn around as he kept on struggling. Sukuna stopped and gawked at you with admiration though you were wet and covered in dust under the pouring rain.

It petrified you from being nervous and the alluring gaze that seemed to imprison your mind with him. You closed your eyes, ready to accept the assumption of him, slaying you, but he surprisingly cupped your face and smiled softly, which made your eyes widen from wonder and your mouth dropping open slightly.

"So, this is the feeling of touching you."

Your heart was pounding, your lips were shaking, and a blush crept over your cheeks. Sukuna noticed them and didn't waste the opportunity to grab your chin and pull you into a kiss. His kiss began softly, not demanding, but more inquisitive. The kiss slowly gained passion as you were almost hesitant, but leaned forward to kiss him a little, yielding to the intensity of his kiss and the firmness of his touch.

The feel of your soft lips against his made him startled from ecstasy. Sukuna desperately wanted to kiss you more passionately, but resisted, sensing the delicate balance between both of you. His lips covered yours in a long warm kiss, sprinkled by the taste of the rain that felt breathless before the end of your first kiss.

Blush blew up from both of your faces as he smiled, rather gently at your now blooming, embarrassed face as he put your messy hair behind your ear.

"You're beautiful."

He placed the last glance and last smile at your flushed face and finally releasing Megumi, getting him back to normal before an oblivious Yuji came back to his body. The two boys immediately asked their inquiries while you chose to ignore them while you trailed back your fingers to your lips.

He left you confused, clueless, puzzled, and perplexed. The blush he made didn't leave your face as he was the only thing that was in your mind.

It is indeed an unexpected kiss.
