Chapter 14: Rekindle

LEXA POV
I play the recording to Clarke. I see her get angry at every second. Next thing I know she's standing up, very mad.

Clarke: What the hell? I didn't say that! I mean yes that's my voice but those words I said are from different times, different sentences.

Before Clarke could enter the house, I ran towards her and pulled her to a tight hug. She was trying to let go of me but I hug her tighter. I can't lose her again. Her eyes were already full of tears and I try to fight back mine. Thank Raven for her annoying obssession with loud music. They can't hear me and Clarke arguing.

Lexa: Clarke please calm down. Please, let's talk about this.

Clarke stopped fighting me and just sobbed. She dipped her face at the crook of my neck and I feel her tears streaming. I hug her more and caress her back to comfort her.

Lexa: Come on, let's go back and sit.

Clarke nods.

Clarke: I, i don't know how they made that but I-i swear Lexa i didn't say those words in one sentence. It was all in a different time and i don't know how they made that.

Clarke was then again sobbing real hard. I hug her again saying it's not her fault.

Me: is that so? Then i should be the one sorry for ignoring you for weeks, Clarke. This isn't your fault. I quickly assumed about this recording and I.. i thought I lost the only friend that matters to me.

Clarke: I would never do that to you Lexa. You're the most amazing person I've met and I respect you way too much to hurt you. I'm sorry.

Clarke looks down the ground while wiping her tears. I hear faint sobs. And I was crying too. I pull her chin up, wipe her tears falling down and smile at her. She smiles back at me.

Me: Clarke, both of us were stupid for not talking to each other. Mainly my fault for ignoring you. I'm sorry. Really. But let's not throw each other sorries. We'll do something about this, and we go back to the way it was before. I miss my commander you know.

I smirk and she chuckles at me.

Clarke: i like that very much. I miss my princess too.

Me: come here you little goof.

I hug her tightly.

Clarke: I'm no goof, and definitely not little.

We both laugh. Then there were camera flashes and see Raven and Octavia smirking at the both of us.

Raven: Finally, about time you two made up. It's annoying picking Lexa up alone. She's boring.

Me: hey i didn't ask you to!

Raven: yea well, better get bored from you than get killed by Clarke.

At that, Raven and Octavia left. And i look at Clarke confused and she's blushing.

Me: What is she talking about?

Clarke: Uh, well you know, i didn't want you to ride the bus or bother your dad to drive you. So i told Raven to make sure you get to places. To know that you're safe.
