Kian look at the files in front of him, he just sigh because he wants to go home to his family now but he also have responsibility to his employees.
"Sir.." A voice called he look up and saw Secretary Han looking at him unsure.
"What is it?" Kian asked with stoic expression
"Mr. and Mrs. Chen are waiting at the lobby, they want to talk to you." Secretary Han said and Kian raise an eyebrow with what he said
"About what?" Kian asked Secretary Han gulped because he can see how his boss look scary right now.
"They didn't mentioned anything and just demand to see you, sir." Secretary Han said
Kian doesn't know what does Chen Family wants, he didn't even heard anything from them.
They didn't even bother to call Xioli to check on her but now they are demanding Kian to see them?
"Let them in." Kian said he wants to know why Chen family wanted to see him.
"Yes sir." Secretary Han said before doing what Kian said, Kian decided to work while waiting for his unwanted guests
Minutes already gone when a knock can be heard on his door.
"Come in." Kian said and Secretary Han appeared behind him the couple that he didn't want to see.
Kian just watch them get in, both of them look around Kian's office, the owner of the office didn't bother to welcome them with smile.
"Mr. Lim." Mr. Chen is the first who broke the silence, Secretary Han didn't leave the office waiting for Kian's command.
"Mr. Chen, Mrs. Chen, have a seat." Kian said pointing at the couch inside his office before sitting down in front of them.
Secretary Han stood behind Kian, the couple look at him before looking at Kian.
"Won't you offer us some drinks?" Mrs. Chen asked with displeased tone.
"I know that you won't take long." Kian said with cold voice.
"Are you sure you want your secretary to hear what we are going to say?" Mrs. Chen said
Kian look at them, they are holding a folder on their hands, they have this evil expression and that's not good for Kian's taste.
"Secretary Han." Kian said
"Yes sir." Secretary Han said before leaving, he really didn't asked the guest what they want to drink.
"Now, what do you want?" Kian asked coldly
"About Xioli." Mr. Chen said
"What about my wife?" Kian asked didn't even look bother
"She's not my daughter, if you are doing all of this just to get on us, she's really not worth anything to me." Mr. Chen said and Kian raise an eyebrow because of that
"You don't think I married Xioli because of your family, right?" Kian said
"If you want some shares from Chen Family, you won't get anything." Mrs. Chen said this time.
Kian doesn't know why, but he laugh and the couple look surprised because of his laugh.
"Damn, this is stupid." Kian said before glaring now at the couple
"You are saying this to me because you think I have interest in your shares? Xioli is not your daughter? That's funny because I really don't think she's your daughter since the first day." Kian said
"Don't you think, I don't know why you are doing this?" Kian said
"We are just here to inform you because we don't want that child to deceive you, she's not worth it." Mr. Chen said
"She's well known troublemaker in T Country, she even seen with men." Mrs. Chen said
The couple got silence with the loud sounds Kian produce why banging his fist on the table in front of him.
"She's not your daughter, I already know that, she's the daughter of the real heir of Chen family, the first son." Kian said glaring at the couple
"She have Chen's blood unlike the both of you, Mr. Chen Aki, you are the adopted son of Chen family." Kian said
"Xioli's parents died because of accident, but looking at the both of you know, why do I feel like it's not accident?" Kian said with venom on his tone
"Mr. Lim Kian!" Both of them shouted.
"What?! Do you think you can go here telling me nonsense, talking rubbish about my wife and I'm going to let you?" Kian said he is totally angry right now
When he realized that this Chen couple really hate Xioli, he wants to know why, that's why he investigated things about his wife.
He even come clean to his wife after he received the report, Xioli didn't mind that he investigated things about her.
"Chen Xioli is the legal heiress of Chen family, she received all the assets owned by her parents, even the elders of Chen Family gave it to her because she's a part of Chen!" Kian said
"You talking rubbish because of what? Xioli's assets that you want? No, you won't get anything from my wife, I'm not doing anything to you because you are being silent for the past months, but suddenly you appeared here telling nonsense?" continues
"That assets are rightfully mine, I'm the one who work hard for it, why did she received it all?" Chen Aki now also angry too.
"Do you know why? Because you are not a Chen, you have no rights about Chen family." Kian said
"I'm the President now of Chen Empire, but those piece of shits are still waiting for Xioli even they know about her reputation." Aki said angrily
"You are the one who keeps following Xioli's movements, you are the reason why she's always reported and have bad reputation." Kian said so sure.
"She deserves it, why did she have it all when I'm the one who work hard for it, mom and dad didn't even left a cent for me." Aki said
Kian look at the door when he heard a loud sounds, he stood up and walk towards his wife who look shock right now.
"Kian." Xioli called him.
"Leave!" Kian said to the couple
"Not until we are sure that Xioli is not coming back and claiming her rights to the Chen Empire." Aki shouted
"You already killed my daughter, you are not going to get anything from us anymore." Milan shouted this time.
Kian hug his wife who suddenly felt weak, with what she's hearing.
"Do you hate me that much?" Xioli asked
"We hate you so much because you killed my only child, my baby that we waited for so long!" Milan shouted
"I'm your child too!" Xioli shouted
"You are not my child, you will be never be my child!" Milan shouted with hatred
Xioli felt her world collapse because of that.
"I am not a Chen?" Xioli asked to herself
"You are baby, you have Chen's blood running to your body." Kian said
"Secretary Han! Get them out of here." Kian shouted to his secretary who is now looking shock.
