Chapter 13

Saravi.

The step I took were too fast that I feet didn't seem to feel the floor underneath. The agony was engulfing me. It was impossible for me not to think the worst in this situation, as much as I try to save my thoughts and not let my heart betray me, I couldn't stop condemning Kalil for that woman who was currently seeing him.

I get into the vicinity of my room and manage to get Nadia out of her occupations to go with me to one of the gardens. Her company was exactly what I needed right now.

"Your Majesty! What happened?" She asked alarmed. And she is not to be blamed I arrived like a whirlwind and without knowing the reason she left everything to comapany me in the garden.

"Now what to do Nadia! I don't know who to ask for help!"

I have all the situations together right now, I feel lonely, without my parents, scared with the threat of Mishaal, and now this visit by this woman was wearing my nerves.

It's too much.

"I don't know how I can help you," she replied terrified.

"I know," I replied with my lips trembling. I was sunk wherever Nadia goes, and I really feared about what was about to unfold.

Nadia approaches the garden chair and as usual wraps her fingers around my arm to calm my nerves.

"I think it is best to do what your heart thinks is right."

"My heart doesn't know what it wants right now," I replied without taking any time.

"But I know that, in the face of all your confusion, even your heart knows what is right," said that girl who grew up with me. Her gaze was reflecting her sincerety.

And, that makes me feel more miserable than I already was. For some reason I would like to be in her position and not in mine. For a moment I would like to disappear from all this and not have to choose any path.

"I need my parents, exactly Dad..,I miss them!"

Nadia shows a smile coming closer to my ear, "I was going to break the news, but for obvious reasons I couldn't. Your parents arrived at the palace tomorrow, a footman arrived to inform me.

My face changed immediately, even if I can't resolve this situation, in a way an unknown relief engulfed my body. I knew I will have a trusted support in the midst of all.

"Thank heavens!" I sighed.

My heartbeat calmed a little as I manage to breathe more deeply. I closed my eyes leaving my mind blank, leaning my back more on the couch. Just when I could relax, I hear hasty footsteps making me instantly open my eyes.

It was the presence of Zura in the garden, staring at me.

"Miss, leave me alone with the Queen," Kalil's mother declares.

I nod in the direction of Nadia, who bows and smiles calmly at me. I sighed at her gesture letting her know that I'll be better. Thus the former queen moves through the garden as if dancing with her step.

"You don't seem to be dealing with the tension Saravi," she started with calm, as if the revolt and the woman who is in the palace right now are nothing to me.

"Apparently not," I replied reproachfully.

The woman finally faces me, taking her position in front of me with a totally serious face and lacking the softness that characterizes her so much.
