Jenna and Sirius just stood there frozen on the spot once the stag vanished, as if they had been petrified.

"Oh, God..." Jenna muttered in a small voice after a long pause, not even being able to even blink from the shock.

     But then she suddenly yelled,

     "LILY'S HAVING THE BABY!"

And that was enough for them to snap out of their daze and to run back toward their bedroom and change out of their pajamas briskly.

Putting their wands in their pockets as quick as humanly possible, Jenna and Sirius left the house and locked the door behind them. By that, they took each other's hand and Disapparated, their hearts beating loud.

A second later, they appeared before Lily and James's house in Godric's Hollow and they both came to a stop in front of the door before knocking, still not over the sudden news.

"I'm gonna be an aunt," Jenna said in a hollow voice, although she looked like she was going to have a stroke from the excitement.

Sirius gave her a smile as he glanced at her sideways before raising his arm and knocking at the door, and so they waited.

But not a minute later, the door to the house opened with such a heavy thud that they both took a step back in shock.

"Quickly! Get in! Get in!" James nearly shouted as he stepped aside for the two of them to get in, before closing the door with the same amount of hurry.

But he then looked like Sirius and Jenna weren't even there as he ran upstairs. His forehead was wet with sweat as he mumbled things to himself every now and then.

With a quick glance at one another, Sirius and Jenna followed him upstairs. But James didn't go into any room. He just stayed in the corridor upstairs, pacing its length up and down, still mumbling to himself and sweating.

"I'm sorry," Sirius cleared his throat, "why do you look so miserable? Are you the one pushing a baby out of your —?"

"Sirius!" Jenna smacked him on the arm warningly, giving him a look that clearly said 'now's not the time'.

But Sirius only shrugged and grinned.

"Where's Lily?" Jenna asked her brother with a light frown.

James said nothing and only pointed at a door to his right. But they could hear no sound coming from inside it, which meant that enchantments were cast upon it.

"Then why aren't we going in to help?" Jenna asked worriedly.

"She won't let me in," James muttered, continuing to pace around. "With her stupid no-man-policy..."

"Who are you talking about?" Sirius mused, but his question was answered when the door suddenly opened and a woman rushed out of it.

      They immediately recognized Bathilda Bagshot.

It wasn't a surprise that she was there, seeing as she used to be a close friend of James ans Jenna's late grandmother. She also lived near James and Lily in Godric's Hollow, visiting them every once in a while to keep Lily company whenever James was gone for an Order mission.

"Don't you go in there young man!" Bathilda pointed warning finger at James before looking Jenna up and down. "I can use your help, dear. Quick. Go get me a few towels and a bowl of hot water. No need to panic."

      But everyone was already panicking.

"Towels..." James muttered. "TOWELS!" he shouted and then abruptly ran downstairs.

Jenna quickly took out her wand and conjured a big bowl, casting a spell that caused the hot water to stream out of the end of her wand and shot into the bowl.

Moments later, James reappeared at the top of the stairs, nearly falling as he ran through the corridor.

"The towels are in the bathroom! NOBODY PANIC!"

He then ran toward the bathroom, coming back moments later with around ten towels in his hands.

The door to their right opened as Bathilda came out of Lily's room and turned to James. "Give me those towels, dear."

They all jumped out of their skins when they heard Lily give out a scream. James was so nervous and scared that he looked like he would burst into tears any moment.

Jenna followed Bathilda inside and as soon as the door closed behind them, the sound inside faded completely away immediately.

James was now flapping his hands hysterically as he again started pacing around anxiously.

Sirius chuckled in amusement. "Prongs, you need to calm down —"

"I'm calm! Who said I'm not calm!? YOU CALM DOWN!"

"Look, everything's going to be fine!"

"What if the kid is half-stag!?" James nearly yelled as he turned to face Sirius, sweat dripping down his forehead.

Sirius let out a laughter. "Why on earth would you say that?"

"Remember at Hogwarts? The day after we had learnt how to become Animagi? You said our kids might become half-animals!"

"I was kidding, you brainless idiot!"

       "WELL IT WASN'T FUNNY!"

This time Sirius had to do everything in his power to stop himself from laughing out loud, so it just came out as a snort.

He tried desperately to calm his friend down, but even though he still couldn't get him to stop worrying, at least he got James to sit down on a chair set outside the room which Sirius had just conjured.

"Prongs, I promise," Sirius started, "your baby will not be half-stag."

"That's not what I'm mostly worried about..." James whispered, his heartbeat picking up.

"Then what?" Sirius raised a brow at him.

James finally looked up at him, the worry obvious in his eyes. "What if — what if I'm not a good enough father? What if I'm not ready?"

Sirius hesitated for a second, but then threw an arm around James's shoulder comfortingly.

"You're going to be the best father that kid could ever ask for."

James's head shot up. "You think so?"

Sirius nodded with a warm smile. "I know so."

But just then their eyes widened and the two men both jumped to their feet when the door to Lily's room open and Jenna stepped outside.

"Congratulations." She smiled at James. "It's a boy."
