While she had practically dropped off the grid with me for a while, I was both concerned and excited to hear from Regina again.

I had been in bed with Raphael, completely content and naked under his playboy red sheets and waking up to the buzz of messages from her begging for a night out to distract from life. I proceeded to call her just to make sure she was alright, she sounded odd and almost lost on the phone and completely exhausted so obviously it made sense that I got ready to party later that night.

Raphael and I had sex again and again before I went to the pack where I did my round of patrol before having lunch with the family then I got ready to party.

Regina was dressed to impress, even if that wasn't the aim, everyone at a club usually always dressed their absolute best. She had the right side of her hair braided in three thin rows, a blood red flower pin attached before the braid could get to the very back, the rest of her chin length brown hair was curled. She wore a cute little black dress with a red belt and red stilettos.

"I must say, if I didn't have a mate, I'd take you home tonight."

She laughed throwing her head back and her arm wrapping around mine. "If you still think so by the end of this, we'll talk." She wink and I laughed shaking my head.

The club music could be heard from outside the building. The sign read Spill in blood red, the pattern like paint, as though the words were dripping off the wall itself. There was a line of people excited and half way drunk waiting to get in. Before I could even go to the back Regina pulled me towards the front. She nodded to the bouncer who let us in without question.

"Someone comes here often."

"Some relief comes from a good night out."

She had to talk right into my ear once we got inside. It wasn't all that necessary with our good hearing but the music did not have any restraint. I swear, we could end up seriously damaging our hearing.

The dance floor was every which way and the bar was in the centre, people would stumble onto the built in seats around it and order a drink. There was another level above which was less occupied, I spotted men and woman laughing and smiling, some watching the rest of us at the bottom and the others not caring to look.

I paused then once the smell of sweat and human lust settled as the primary scent around there.

Vampires. A lot of them too. I furrowed my brows then and looked over Regina who growled narrowing her eyes, she could smell them too.

"Should we leave?" She yelled into my ear. "I swear, there usually isn't this many."

I patted her hand looking around. The place was filled with them, it was both alarming and yet, I knew my friend wouldn't bring me to a place for vampires with how much she had loathed them. "It's fine. I'm sure they aren't a threat."

"First sign and you're out." She pointed at me sternly and I laughed. Let's try to get drunk.

We got ourselves rather over priced drinks and at some point Regina mentioned she had VIP passes for us once we get tired of the young grinding crowd. Drinking and looking around I knew there was no way I'd get drunk until Regina signalled the bartender and told him one word.

"Wolf." The woman made an okay sign and what I could only guess to be wolfsbane was handed to us. So this place was definitely neutral supernatural territory. The kind of places that catered to people like us, this only made me curious because not many of them existed and often times they were selective, meaning they could probably have everything wolves needed to have a good time together but other species not so much. Since vampires were around and plenty of them I wondered for a moment if they served them their kind of drink.
