"What're you doing?"

"Initiating Raphael's seduction trial."

"Okay, what?" I grinned over at my brother before showing him my laptop, it was a folder literally labled that.

"I found him last night, we had a bit of a heated discussion but... I have hope. I'm going to win him back."

"Oh-kay, this sounds oddly worrisome."

"Fear not brother." I stood laughing, feeling for the first time a sense of joy. I had held him, felt his arms around him, seen him and even stole a kiss. I could still smell his lingering scent. "I'm wooing my mate into wanting me again."

"The roles reversed. That's cute." I tapped his shoulder and he grinned settling in my chair as he had grown so used to doing. I changed while he waited for me. "So you're starting with a gift?"

"Well, it's something I had in mind for the day I found my mate, not very original but, I've improved it over the years."

"You can be so sweet."

I shook my head at his fluttering lashes as he pouted. "Don't do that, it looks weird." He laughed then and grabbed my car keys.

"So, what will you do after?" I asked him since he was coming with me to do a bit of shopping for groceries.

"Video games. Moving took it's tole on my shoulders."

"You need to get laid."

"I get laid plenty." I laughed. Trent had yet to find his mate and from what I could gather he wasn't in much of a rush either.

We bought groceries and I got myself my favourite chocolate before we stopped by a jewelry store, I bought Kalika a little gift along with my neice before we left.

"You really aiming for that uncle of the year, huh?"

"You just jealous cause they don't like you."

"Who lied? They just don't show love the same way to everyone." He huffed. "Brat."

I laughed at his bitterness before we arrived home. The teenagers around came and retrieved the things and I left the gift for my niece in her room before giving Marshal the gift for his sister. He rolled his eyes and claimed that I loved her more than he did which was actually bad for his image.

Then I went to my mate because I am obsessive like that and excited. Before leaving the car I checked my appearance, being sure to bit my lip a bit to make it more red and kissable. I don't know, Claude said it works.

I knocked and waited. And waited. And waited. I tried not to feel disappointed though because finally the door opened and I must say, the smexy view I got was enough to have me feeling frozen. Raphael opened the door shirtless, in grey sweat pants and messy bed hair and glasses nearly sliding off, a working document in his hands. Slowly he looked over and the whole thing felt like an attack on my innocent soul.

"Wow." I gave him a stupid puppy smile before thrusting my hand into his chest, pushing the blood red box into his skin. He was being deliberately slow and it was frustrating and gorgeous.

"Well, greetings to you too." He rolled his eye and took the box. "What is this? Why is this?" He raised a brow at me.

"That's just a little something I've been meaning to give to you for a while now."

"Mate things?" I glared.

"No, just a gift." I moved into his house which would one day, hopefully soon, be ours even though I already considered it ours. "What are you up to?"

"Why no, Travis, please come in. I wasn't busy or anything. Your presence is welcomed." The door slammed and I tried not to laugh at him being petty.

"You know, I never knew you were the type to mock when annoyed."

"Well surprise surprise. Can I offer you anything?" He rounded his couch. "I have water." I laughed smiling brightly at his words which oddly enough brought me a sense of comfort.

"Don't worry, that'll change soon."

I came around the couch and because I respect him, I sat on the end of the couch, giving us just enough space between us that he wouldn't be mad and I could feel content. I smiled watching as he glanced at me and his cheeks reddened. He opened the box and I leaned my arm over the back rest, crossing my leg over the other and looking around. There were thick documents littered around the place.

"An anklet?"

He held up the silver item with our initials and looked at me.

"You have stunning ankles." He pursed his lips and shook his head, reaching into the box which held a little love note, I flushed as he read it and coughed, sliding it back in with the anklet and setting them down.

"Uh- well then," I snickered. "Thanks, I guess."

He rubbed his thighs then.

"Always." We went silent then and I enjoyed just looking at him. "Can I have your phone number?" I asked him spotting his phone. I leaned over to grab it and he beat me to it.

"No. Never."

"You know, we had agreed to be friends at one point. I should be allowed to have your number."

"Oh, how the tables have turned." He shook his head smirking. "If I recalled I said the same thing. Remember what you told me?"

"Yes? But I forgot my number and my phone was at home?"

"No, you told me not to push it. So I'm going to tell you, your in my house, don't push it."

"Your cute when you tryna be mean."

"I'm not trying."

"Even better."

"Ugh, you can be annoying, you know that?"

"I learnt from the best after all, so I'm glad."

"Please leave."

"Nah, I don't need to be anywhere today so I'll stay here until I get hungry."

"That should be soon then." I smirked at him as he picked up his documents.

"I cut down on eating over the years."

"You must be one starved wolf."

"Lost a bit of weight, yeah." He looked over at me as I nodded my head absentmindedly.

"Are you okay?"

"I'm now." I beamed at him and he flushed and looked away.

He began working and I watched him, playing on my phone and taking it that today was my rest day. Eventually he forgot about his phone which I took and got his phone number for. With it in my pocket I went to the bathroom and took a picture of myself with it, setting it as the image for when I call him. Then I took another one for his lock screen. I'm so cute damnit.

I proceeded to steal photos he took of himself which were rare until I found it. I gapped at the sight of photos of me sleeping and doing homework and washing dishes. Oh, Raphael, the little handsome minx had a whole folder dedicated to me. He was adorable, truly.

As I soon found myself back in the living room with him, I slid his phone under some documents and secretly took a photo of him.

"I saw that."

"Saw what? I don't know what you are talking about." I took another and stood. "Wow, will you look at that, I better get back for patrol."

"Idiot." Raphael shook his head but did not try to stop me from leaving or try to take my phone so I felt today was a good day.
