"Miss Pajarillaga!" I flinched when Mr. Dizon shouted my name. My first instinct was to stand up straight to face him.

I looked around and saw my classmates holding back their laughter. Instead of being offended, their take in this situation actually puts me at ease.

The professor in front is obviously not happy with what I did.

"I'm sorry, sir. It won't happen again."

"Dapat lang, Ms. Pajarillaga. I will let this go because I know that you're a good student." he said then proceeded to compose an entire sermon about it. It took him a while to make me sit down.

The class went on but I could still feel the redness on my face.

Rina touched me. "Teh, what's up? Are you okay?" he asked.

I nodded, "Yeah." I did my best to stay awake by biting my bottom lip every now and then but the professor's low and quiet voice is definitely not helping!

It's been a month since I started tutoring Seth in the morning, then learning guitar from him after class. Last night, I had to stay up to learn one subject that Seth takes, medyo malayo ang sections namin kaya may subjects kami na hindi pareho.

It's raining but it doesn't feel so sad. How could I be when he's here with me?

I'm in a balcony, with a boy playing the guitar earnestly. You could tell in one glance that he is in love with what he's doing. There's a different glow in his eyes whenever he holds a guitar.

My heart's beating fast as I hear him play a serenade for me.

This boy isn't just anyone to me. He is someone who turned out to be my everything.

"Did you like it, Nyx?" he asked me with high hopes in his eyes, expecting praise from me. With the way he played it, he deserves all the praises in the world.

"I did. I really did." I answered and granted him a quick kiss. In return, he enveloped me in his arms. The only place in the world that I'd choose to stay in forever.

Even being the impatient person that I am, I won't complain being here for good. "You know what?" his voice broke, a sign of his voice growing lower by the day. I'm so glad we get to grow up together.

"What?"

"I love singing songs to you..."

It was so, so good. Those days were fine. I was perfectly fine and satisfied with everything.

They didn't have to end.

I shivered as I felt the wind brush through my hair.

I am so not feeling well. I reached for something to shield me from the cold when my hands caught something that wasn't here before. It's a jacket.
